Just back from a really enjoyable meal in Montys. I had read a number of reviews and decided to give it a go. From the start, the staff could not have been more helpful. Any explanation of the menu was never any trouble. The food is really tasty and just looks great when served up. A good sign for me was the mixture of the crowd there, for a Tuesday night it was busy - couples, families and groups of friends. Try it, you won't be disappointed.... Read more...

Excellent Nepalese cuisine

There used to be a dodgy little restaurant until quite recently that we visited once just for pure comedy value but it has now been replaced by a much finer establishment in Monty's which is the sister restaurant of the now well known Monty's of Kathmandu in Temple Bar. Given that we had just had our 1 day of summer and we had guests for the weekend we wanted somewhere where we could potentially sit outside, that was within walking distance of our house and that would let us bring our baby...
