Indian with flair
(24 October 2011)
by: Hanna B. 5 out of 5
Normally I wouldn't pick an Indian restaurant to go to for a romantic dinner. 'Indian cooking' for me evokes images of containers filled with all manners of slap dash curry - delicious but not exactly romantic , better suited to a night in front of the TV. I think my husband and I had exhausted all other possibilities and decided finally to give Ananda's a go! Imagine our surprise as we entered the beautiful mood- lit restaurant right next door to HMV! We ordered the most amazing cocktails... Read more...

chicken peri peri
(15 July 2011)
by: Lotty T. 4 out of 5
Nandos food is hot and spicy and their grilled chicken is gorgeous really tasty and is fine for a casual lunch. It's all in the Peri Peri sauce and their chicken is always cooked perfectly. I was there mid afternoon so it was quiet. It's semi self service which I like and the food was gorgeous and the sauces very tasty and if you like chicken have a look at Nandos. I had difficulty trying to find it at first.... Read more...

Unusual indian food
(18 May 2011)
by: T. M. 4 out of 5
Indian food but not as we are used to it - the dishes are not the typical takeaway tandoori or korma, this is a more sophisticated sort of restaurant. I was not very enamoured with the location as it in the shopping centre, though convenient if you were going to the cinema. Apart from that one gripe I was very impressed with the food, in particular the 'tasting' style dish called Thaali. Lots of different flavours and a good value way to try out a number of dishes.... There food is lovely and plenty of staff keen to assist you and explain the food. There early bird menu is great value. Choice of food is amazing and so so tasty, would def recommend going here.... ... Read more...

Great Early bird.
(14 June 2010)
by: Lydia R. 4 out of 5
I was here 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday. Food is lovely. I had the fish on the early bird menu and it was delicious. The early bird was exceptional value for money. I'd highly recommend it for an early bird. Be prepared to pay a bit more otherwise... We did have trouble finding the place. You can go in via the cinema entrance or there is another entrance on the street opposite the council car park.... Read more...

Look no further for top Indian food
(02 February 2010)
by: Tom H. 5 out of 5
I went here with my wife the other day before going to the movies in Dundrum - had been angling to go here since it opened but haven't had the chance. This is not your average Indian fare... the head chef was the first in the UK to win a Michelin star for an Asian restaurant (Benares) so you can imagine that the quality is high in his Dublin venture. Prices are marginally more expensive than a standard Indian restaurant - roughly in line with your normal run of the mill Dublin resto - but... Read more...
