This is situated next to the new Dealz store on Grand Parade. It is an unusual shop in that there are no actual items on display. You simply log up a huge thick catalogue and you key in the code of the item to see how many are there on the premise. You then approach the counter and pay for your items while you are given a ticket to collect the items at another counter. There is very very little on display. There is usually a crate load of free catalogues available. ... Read more...

I am a big Argos fan and for years i lived very close to this one and spent a fortune in there, Sells more or less everything under the sun from Hairdryers to toys. An absoloutely manic place to visit most weekends and at christmas is a mad house but prices and great and stock is nearly always plentyfull. Staff are usually helpful enough and i love the online reservation system so that i dont make a journey to buy something to show up and its out of stock. Bought some great stuff from them over... I shop very regularly at Argos and always find what I'm looking for on their website. Items can be checked to see if in stock, if so can be reserved. Just enter your mobile number and a text is received containing your reservation number. You then have till close of business the following day to collect items. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking available outside. Great to check website regularly for bargains and special offers. They are also very good for accepting... Read more...

The good is that, like all argos stores, you can ring and reserve or even order online and so you know that you are getting what you want before you even go there. the city centre location means that you can combine this store with the rest of the city centre which isn't always the case for Argos as they tend to be a bit out of town. The downside is that there is no parking... Read more...

Argos

This is a large argos store. Great city centre location for popping in to buy stuff - the downside to that is if you are buying anything bulky then it is a logistical nightmare to get it home as theres no where closeby to park. It works as most standard Argos stores do - you put down the catalogue number, pay for the product & pick it up at the desk. They've recently introduced machines wehre you can pay yourself - these are handy as on busier days its a pain to have to queue at the cash... Read more...

everybody knows the drill with argos buy now, check the catalogue, pay and wait to collect it.as this argos is the the only on e in the city centre items tend to sell out here fast, especially the more reasonably priced items.also this one tends go get very busy especially on a Saturday lunchtime. best not to get the bigger items here as there is no nearby parking -although you can hire a trolley for about €10.... Everything you need

Argos carry everything you could want whether its a bed, coffee machine, toys or toothbrush - they have it! The prices are similar to everywhere else but their sales are very good. One thing I have noticed is they sometimes mark prices higher before putting them on "sale" so you think you're getting a bargain but you're not! That said, its very handy. You can reserve your item online and collect it the next day and the whole process is very hassle-free.... Read more...

There is not much I could write about Argos, everybody knows about Argos anyway. But only thing is, nowadays seems like they don't have many items in stock ! A lots of things I have searched for at argos.ie were out of the stock. By the way, Argos is generally cheaper than normal stores but still I would look around bit more before I decide. ... Great prices and huge selection with huge catalogues

Have bought quite a few items here in this store. I have been lucky to get some great half price bargains from the Catalogues from time to time. Everything I buy is ready assembled or electrical goods etc., but not flat packs that I absolutely hate. I am sure a lot of people would prefer to pay a bit more and have their small bits and pieces assembled for them. I know I would. For a shop that is so busy you are never kept waiting too long for your item to come out from the stores... Read more...

Every argos is the same really and this is a handy store to have in the city centre. I guess as previous comments have mentioned the parking is a bit of a let down but i guess it can't be helped with its central location. Now that agros as opened in Mahon Point i would presume it takes a lot of customers due to the free parking. The store is generally kept well and i have always found the staff to be very friendly. Christmas is a nightmare here as it gets so busy and takes ages to get your... Read more...

Good store but no different to the other Argos expect harder to get to as you need to park in Paul Street or Grand Parade to get close to it. It is handy that you can check online if the product you want is in stock and it will be reserved but as you can do that in all Argos shop its easier to go to one that isnt in the middle of the city. Good shop though if you are shopping city centre and the product you want is not big or heavy... Read more...
