Argos is catalogue shopping in a store. They don’t have things on the shelves like other shops, you just go into the store and write down the product code of what you want and go to the cash desk. It comes out very quick, the service is great and the staff are very helpful.Kepp an eye out for the price cut down mini catalogues as they regularly have price drops on certain items.... Argos is great for finding random things and everything but it can be a bit of an inconvenience. It can get a bit annoyin when your in a rush but then it takes them ages to find your purchase. You wonder why it should takethem so long?I think they should try organising the stock a bit better. Another thing that i find is a lot of the stock is out of order before you buy it so you should try call the store to see if its available befor e you go all they to the shop to find you cant get it!other... Argos has a bit of everything, you could find everything you need for your home and garden under one roof. get yourself one of their big chunky catalogues and browse away to your hearts content. I like to reserve my items online, they have a great website and you can check the stock online, they text you your reservation number, so handy ! they also have a clearance section some great bargains there! they also deliver bigger items, very reliable. but be warned most of the furniture is... This is a small enough Argos- I know that by the very nature of Argos’ business that the stores don’t really have to be big, but at busy periods it would really help! Almost every Argos that I have ever been in always seems to be boiling hot- even when they are not busy- so a little extra space can go a long way! Because this place is small I would avoid it because there is usually a queue and it can take a lot longer and I would chose a different one where possible! ... Read more...

I'm not particularly in love with Argos, but it's handy if you're shopping catalogue, and if you're shopping catalogue, this Ilac branch isn't a bad place to do it. I find it is one of the lesser known Argos' so the queues aren't as long and they definitely seem to have what you need in stock more regularly than the Jervis or the Stephen's Green branch. This location is also well spaced out, so it doesn't feel as crowded and its not so hard to get a stock checking terminal. However, given the... Read more...

This branch always seems to have stock in when others don't. I don't think that many people come into the Ilac these days so it works out well if you're looking for something. I was in there a few days ago and they have these fancy new machines for ordering/paying yourself. Kind of like the Tesco self service checkout idea. There was no one queuing at them so i was able to get my order in and pay very quickly. I'm not sure how it would work out if you had a load of items to scan in though...i... Read more...

this is a great argos that always has a great amount of stock. I bought an ipod over in london and when i got home it just went blank screen and wouldnt work so popped into this argos for help. The staff were so lovely here and offered an exchange straight away or i could wait until the week after and get the newer ipod. So i reserved a new ipod and collected it the week after. Is it just me or are the argos cataloges getting bigger by the day lol.... Read more...
