Aviva
(06 February 2012)
by: Aisling R. 5 out of 5
I have not been in this stadium since before it opened, but I was there several times during construction and I have to say it is an amazing stadium. I have been in every area of this stadium, from field level, to corporate boxes and up in the gantries and there is not a bad view in the entire stadium. I'm really looking forward to being able to afford to go see a rugby match here... Read more...

Brilliant Venue
(26 January 2012)
by: Amber W. 5 out of 5
Came here middle of last year to see The Script and have to say I was very impressed. Getting to the stadium provided no issues as was only a quick journey on the luas. On arrival I was expecting long queues due to the thousands expected but this wasn't the case. Within 5 minutes after getting off the Luas we were in and that was without giving ourselves extra time to beat the expected queues. Drinks inside the venue were slightly above average but nothing out of the ordinary there.... Read more...

great
(24 August 2011)

I have been to a match here this year. Absoloutly lovely and nothing compared to the last match I was in over in landstown road. It cost enough to build but is well worth it. All the seating is really comfortable. They do tours around the top of the stadium. Prices are more expensive than landstown road but the comfort is well worth it. Views of the city are amazing if your up the top. Staff are nice. I parked out at St stephens green and walked out alot handier than parking out there... Read more...

Aviva
(10 July 2011)

This is a fantastic looking Stadium. You can see it for miles and its very impressive looking. It’s huge inside and the view from the stands breath taking. I have been there for matches and music events. Both were very well run and I enjoyed myself and look forward to going again. Every seat gave you a view and though I had never been in the original Lansdowne Road, I can only assume that this is a lot better.... Read more...

brilliant concert venue
(08 July 2011)
by: lorraine w. 5 out of 5
I was in the Aviva for the first time last sat night for the script concert and found it absolutely amazing. Just a 15 minute walk from st stephens green or possible to get the DART direct to the stadium. It is well designed and very accommodating for large crowds. Entrances and exits are clearly posted and easy to navigate your way around. Facilities on site are great too. Sound and view was amazing, a great concert venue in my opinion... Read more...

Landsdown Road
(01 July 2011)
by: oliver w. 3 out of 5
To me it will always be Landsdown Road, where i went as a young fellow to see the Republic in soccer action on the North Terrace, before they became popular. Was here recently for a concert and found it to be an excellent venue and well organised, only one problem is they can't really cope with people on the pitch at the end of the concert and your better off staying put for awhile. The atmosphere unlike the last soccer match i was at there(with highly inflated prices) was very good and so was... Read more...

Aviva Stadium
(29 June 2011)

I was at the Aviva Stadium last Saturday NIght for the Neil Diamond concert. This was a very good gig and I really enjoyed it. The facilities in the Aviva Stadium are very good. There are loads of bars here. Queueing was not a problem and each queue went very quick. The toilets were very clean and easy to get to. There was plenty of them around the place also. My view from stand was very good and the seats were comfortable enough. A bit of a cold spot though!... Read more...

Aviva vs Lansdowne Road
(13 May 2011)
by: Pat G. 3 out of 5
No comparison really...I used to think the atmosphere in Lansdowne Road was great until I went to a Leinster game...absolutely top class. One downside is the price of both the tickets and grub...over the top with price. Great places surrounding the Aviva for food and drink beforehand or afterwards. Great view from the seats we had, even though we were in the top tier, but I can imagine if someone was scared of heights, they may have an issue with it. Atmosphere great but let down by prices... great view
(03 May 2011)
by: Dom C. 3 out of 5
The stadium is built on the site of the old Lansdowne Road venue. It took its time being rebuilt but the finished stadium looks very impressive. The exterior and interior look great, the seating is exactly the right distance from the pitch. Every seat gave you a great view. I agree with SteveZ the prices for tickets and food are ridiculously expensive. There are loads of places near by to eat either beforehand or after the match. ... Read more...

Great stadium
(11 April 2011)
by: Steve Z. 3 out of 5
The first time I went here it was to an Irish friendly in football and the atmosphere was awful. It sounded and felt like I was at a public swimming pool. But I went to the Leinster v Leicester game at the weekend and completely different experience. I had great seats this time but friends were scattered around and it seems to be designed well so you get a good view no matter where you are. The two pig screens are nice and clear too. Why am I only giving it 3 stars? I'm just sick of... Read more...

Top class stadium
(18 February 2011)
by: Conor B. 4 out of 5
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Aviva stadium for the FAI Cup Final. The stadium itself is state of the art, and has Elite status with UEFA, the European football governing body. We had seats which were quite high up but the view was still impeccable. The only down side was the length of time queuing for refreshments at half-time, however I have found this the norm at any well-attended event. Would go back at any chance, if I can afford the tickets!... Read more...

Cracking stadium
(09 February 2011)
by: Aoibheann S. 3 out of 5
I've been to Aviva twice and really enjoyed it on both occasions. The stadium is amazing, both inside and out, and is well worth a visit. I got a €10 ticket to the Cup Final and won free tickets to the Ireland v All Blacks match so my visits didn't costs too much. I was stunned when I heard how much pepole were being charged for tickets to international soccer and rugby matches! It is scandalous. Sort it out Aviva. ... Read more...
