My Favourite Shop!

(13 February 2012)

Report

by: Karen D. 4 out of 5

I really like this shop! They always have a great selection of stock, with a good range of sizes. and very well laid out. They seem to have good sales on year round and the staff are friendly and helpful. I also love the bags and accessories, good value and very good quality. The only downside to this shop is that the fitting rooms are downstairs and there is no elevator, so it's a bit of a problem for anyone with a buggy or wheelchair.... Read more...

A Wear is a nice shop if you are looking for casual outfit. This is a big enough shop with the casual wear on the first floor and on the ground floor the slection is more formal. l find in recent times the clothes have become very casual and the shop seems to have a load of baargain rails with a lot of rubbish unless you are going on a sun holiday. There is a small accessory section and they stock a range of belts hand-bags, costume jewellery etc. The staff are nice and helpful. They also have... Read more...

this is a large enough a/wear with a great selection. Love the fact they stock large sizes ( as in 16) plentyfully and not like other stores which stock loads of 8/10's and very little apart from that. the accessories in this branch are great and fantastic value, they look and wear great! i love a/wear as think it on trend but comes within budget, the fashion trend may not last long so whats the point spending a fortune?!!... I love Awear ... in general. The shop in Galway is just off shop street and was difficult for me to find. When a friend told me about it i was very excited as she said it had 2 floors so i assumed it would be big. Although it is, they rarely have anything nice in it unless your extremely lucky. The place is filled with bargain rails and everything nice seems to be gone in seconds. Compared to the store in Liffey Valley Galway is not a patch on it!... Read more...

This shop is great when your looking for a cool but casual bargain. It has trendy clothes from tshirts to casual dresses and tops. There of reasonable quality but you need to look carefully in case you pick up that odd damaged stock. Lets say its great if your a student who wants a change from pennys to a bit more upmarket but not much..theres also plenty of cheap costume jwellery, scarves etc.... Read more...

A-wear

(26 May 2011)

Report

by: Patrick N. 1 out of 5

A-wear is a fine shop with great quality clothes. My only problem with this shop and the reason why i am giving it only one star, is because they do not sell mens clothing. Surly there must be an opening in the market for a-wear to diversify into the mens area of things. The shop itself is lovely, clean and tidy. From my experience in it (when shopping with the missus), the staff seem very helpful and friendly also.... Read more...

There are always some great offers to be had at A-Wear. At the moment one of the special offers is that when you buy a dress you can also buy a cardigan for half price. Some other offers throughout the store too. The clothes are reasonably priced and good quality. This branch of the store is in a nice location beside other high street stores that you may have already been checking out.... Read more...

Its a big shop, but its only ok. The casual stuff is on the first floor and you go downstairs to the more expensive stuff. I always think its a bit dark and dingy downstairs, but thats just personal taste I guess. The clothes seem to be much the same stock each time I go in. But good news is that you can get vouchers from this site to use instore. On the plus side they seem to have sales quiet often. Its usually busy.... Read more...

LOve this store. I came in one day with having a lot of vouchers gathered up from pigsback and I was certain that the girl on the till would either hate me or judge me, but she was extremely lovely and assured me that that was whay they were there for! Reasonably priced, with a 10% student discount. The handbags and the earrings are my favourite, and they also are good qualirt and last for ages. :)... Read more...

I love A Wear, I can buy an outfit for a night out for around €45/€60, the prices are reasonable, the stock is stylish and up to date fashion, the shoes are not sold in Galway yet but seeing them on their website Im not impressed, they are very expensive and do not reflect A Wear prices. The store is clean and the staff are helpful, the location in town is great ... Read more...

Reasonably Priced with 10% Student discount

I like the A Wear shop in Galway. I agree with L. N. though the clothes can be plain enough at times. They have a nice selection of jeans which include short leg which is great for a small person like me! The prices are reasonable and 10% student discount is great but only applies to full price items. one disadvantage is that the changing rooms are downstairs so not suitable for those who have difficulty with steps. Accessories section is small but includes belts, handbags, jewellery,... Read more...
