i was here last week for the first time!! i have obviously noticed it before, but never ended up actually going in! i thought it was grand!maybe a little bit of an older age group!the smoking area is handy and all that and the toilets were grand! i wasnt really gone on the atmosphere as i felt it was somewhat lacking! not the kind of place that i would find myself too soon, but grand for a drink!... Old Reliable

The Bleeding Horse has always been a great pub in a great area. Its open late at weekends. Great place to go for rugby , soccer or gaa matches. They even have a screen in the beergarden. Its a big pub over a number of floors with lots of alcoves and private areas as well as large open bar areas. Great place to meet before heading to one of the near nightclubs.... Read more...

Built in 1649, the Bleeding Horse is one of Dublins most historic pubs and I've always enjoyed nights out there. ... Read more...

This place is both great and not so great depending on how you look at it. The Bleeding Horse is an ancient place, it is a landmark within itself and the interiors remain much the same as I would imagine they did back in the day. However, it does mean feelings of grubbiness. The toilets feel like stalls, and are about as freezing as a horse's stable in winter. However, it's got that "old warm barn" feel to it at the same time. There are loads of little corners to nestle into for a... Read more...

Bl... oody Good

I've only been here a few times, but each time has been mesmerizing. The whole place is just a Victorian labyrinth with stairwells and seated alcoves aplenty. They have a great atmosphere and love to showcase the big annual sporting events like the six nations. Prices are slightly above average, but the candle-like lighting and atmosphere make up for it. If you were a tourist, I would definitely recommend it. If you're not, I'd still recommend it... Their drinks roster is also a refreshing... Read more...

Bleeding brilliant

I've only been here once and I keep meaning to come back but haven't got round to doing so yet. This is a great pub and the atmosphere is very lively. Although, like most pubs in Dublin some of the drinks are stupidly priced for example, five euro for a vodka and Mi Wadi: total rip-off. However at the time I was too drunk to care and the staff were very pleasant. The seating is arranged very nicely; it's very private so you're not seated too closely to strangers and you can enjoy a quiet... Read more...

Bleedin' Delighted

Many a friend will suggest hitting The Bleeding Horse for birthday drinks, and it is always a good start to the 'Camden Crawl'. As the previous reviewer said the smoking area is great, quite a few tables and chairs and not a bit cold. The staff are really great, you never seem to wait long for a drink no matter how busy it gets. Prices are on a par with everywhere else. I like the size of the pub, it is huge but one thing I will say is that the layout will eternally confuse me. No matter how... Read more...
