I love going to Skerries, I think it's a lovely area and have been a few times for night's out and always found it lovely. I love going in here for lunck. They do a lovely roast chicken dinner with lovely roast potatoes and veg. Really good prices and a good menu with lots to choose from. I was here last year with a friend of mine and they got the steak and it looked lovely. Food always cooked to perfection. Good portion sizes nice staff would deffo go back again... Read more...

Have been to Blue Bar twice.Had heard it was a sophisticated bar restaurant. The outside appearance is an eyesore in the pretty harbour. A building as ugly as this such not have been allowed to spoil the harbour. The inside layout is no better. The eating areas are cramped and dark. The decor is horrible and very unsophisticated. It reminds me of a crass bar on the costa's in the 70's. The food is nice but nothing special and the chicken wings are nice but certainly not the best in Dublin,... Read more...

Love this place. There chicken wings are just the best in Dublin. They have a wide ranging menu which changes every few months. Nice place to relax over a few drinks on a lovely hot summers eve. The music and atmosphere on a sat night is just whats needed after a weeks work to unwind and live a little! Lovely and polite staff, can be a bit hectic at the peak time but you'll always get a table within 20 mins. Well worth a visit.... Read more...

Blue is a great bar with something for everyone. There is a bar part, wine bar part, sports bar and fab beer garden. It gets very busy so recommended that you book a table! Great food, service and the added bonus of dancing and later bar upstairs. Perfect view of skerries harbour and motor rally season is always a fav haunt for the riders passing through. Highly recommended... Read more...

Everytime I go to blue I come away happy whether it be on a night out with friends or for dinner with family. The food is excellent for a pub. The chicken wings are to die for and you couldn't get more in the portions. My husband loves the fish dishes here also. At the weekends the place has a great atmoshere and always full. Only thing that I do not like is the fact you can't book a table although I have never have to wait too long. Oh and you can't take in prams/buggys. Understand that... Read more...

Once again I'd like to give it 2.5 stars (an okay) but I'll go for the lower rating. I've been here a good few times and can only herald similar experiences. All these experiences have invariably converged, stuttered limply and fallen into the insipid bracket. I'm not sure what it is about this place, but no matter how many people pass through the door the atmosphere just drones in here. I'd be lynched for attributing this to the folk of Skerries or surrounding areas and their ilk, but it... Read more...

Blue is a great place for all ages. Really lovely decor inside, it's got a sophisticated pub/bistro feel to it. It overlooks the harbour in Skerries and so is always a busy spot. Staff are always friendly. Food is good, not amazing but good. Burgers are great, massive but really good. Wine is a little overpriced but to be honest the overall ambience and buzz far outweigh any critics. Lovely for coffee in afternoon or food later in evening.... Read more...
