Nice Selection of Cosmetics

This pharmacy is well located within the Briarhill shopping centre complex, adjacent to Dunnes. It is well stocked with brands such as Essence, Gosh, Rimmel and Smashbox. They have a lovely fragrance counter which stocks all the latest perfumes and the sales assistants here are always very helpful and are generous with samples which is always a nice touch. This pharmacy is great, location and service are superb. I headed in here looking for advice for a sick toddler. The pharmacist came out and chatted to me and recommend different products to me. found them very helpful and approachable. The layout of the premises is both inviting and practical. It is easy to find your way around and locate the products you need without having to ask. You dont have to apy for perking to nip in here too which is major bonus around the city. ... Read more...

Handy

This is handy for a few reasons - its out of town, its got free parking and it opens long hours for people that may be working all day. All get the thumbs up. They also open on a Sunday from 12 to 6 which is handy. I was in today, and they are doing a make up masterclass next week from the 3rd to the 6th. Might just go along, as the thought of the advertised "perfect pout" is rather appealing. They do a good range of make up to suit every skin type and pocket. Usual chemist goods on... Read more...

The Briarhill Pharmacy is in a great location if you do not wish to have to travel throught the city centre traffic. The is lots of car parking space here. There are also other great shops here, including a very good Dunnes Stores and fabulos New Look. it is usually quite enough out in this shopping centre wich make browsing a lot easier. Plenty of places to eat also so ye shoppers won't go hungry!... Read more...

Nothing really exceptional here, pretty much a normal chemist although I do have one quipe- the staff are not very pleasant! They sell good makeup brands, such as Clinique and Smashbox, and the cheaper ones like Rimmel and Essence. They do have lots of perfume on sale too, but do be prepared to pay a lot becuase this shop seems to have an opinion of itself when it comes to prices!... Read more...

Great Pharmacy

This is a great Pharmacy. The location is great and the access is super. No need to go into the city and try and find a parking space! Free parking and plenty parking. They have a great selection of stuff including smashbox and clinique. They've just changed their opening hours so that they are open till ten during the week - nice to see a pharmacy opening to suit the customer! I find it handy to run in when I'm doing the shopping at Dunnes.... Read more...

Good opening hours

This pharmacy is handy as it is located right next to Dunnes Stores in Briarhill. They have a good range of makeup, perfumes and the usual pharmacy stuff. Opening hours are good. It is open until 8 Mon to Wed, until 9 on Thurs and Friday. They also open Sat and Sun until 6. I have not had any problems with staff so far except hearing one say to the other behind perfume counter 'this place is so expensive"...! (not something customers should hear staff say!) This pharmacy is grand. It stocks all the usual accoutrements as well as having a good range of makeup along 1 side. The staff are alright but they're not exactly falling over themselves for you. The main problem I have with this place is that it's quite expensive so I'd only buy items here if I was really stuck for it! This place is great for make up..smashbox, shishedo, gosh, rimmel, essence, l'oreal. I love Gosh!! Also great for brands like La Roshay Posay,vichy.. The staff can be a bit snobby I agree but it handy for me and the beauty salon upstairs is nice.. the beauty emporium..its handy they are int he same building.... Read more...

Briarhill has a good selection of makeup, smashbox & clinique on one end of the scale, Gosh (which is great stuff and I actually don't know where else in Galway stocks it) somewhere in the middle and even Essence down at the other end (which, btw, is absolutely fine for certain things, like nail polish!) I forget their full range but you get the idea! As for the actual dispensing part of Briarhill Pharmacy, I don't bother with it too much because I find their staff snobby - and I prefer...
