Super handy

This is a great little shop to run into when your in a rush! The staff are really quick so you barely have to wait arounf in the queues. The lay out of the drinks and sweets makes it so easy to find everything. Downstairs has stationary and gift wrapping paper and everything like that. It's one of those shops that sells everything when you're in a fix and don't want to spend hours trawling through Eason's or wherever. One bad thing I do have to say on the subject is that is it quite narrow, and... Read more...

always go here and its usually on the way to the bus, great place to stop off and buy a drink especially as it is the only shop on that end of grafton. sells sweets/drinks and so on on the ground floor and stationary in the basement. small enough shop wise but it does have everything you could want. price wise it might be a smidge overpriced but do you want the item or not! ... Anytime I've been in this shop its been jammed. Its such a busy little spot and its small. Its your typical newsagents really, plenty of newspapers, magazines, confectionery, lotto and tobacco products. The staff are super efficient though and you are never queueing long. There is also a card gallery downstairs with cards, giftwrap and small token gifts available. Its very handy, located at the very top of grafton st opposite the entrance to st stephens green shopping centre. ... Read more...

Really busy newsagents located on the the top of grafton st opposite the entrance to St Stephens Green shopping centre. Handy place to nip into to do the lotto or buy cigarettes or as or buy something as an excuse to get change for the bus. . They carry a great selection of newspapers magazines and confectionery. There is also a card gallery downstairs with cards and trinkets for all occasions. Place is always very very busy but the usual have it well staffed so you get served pretty quickly ... Read more...

Bus Stop

I think this is a busy slightly cramped shop. Their shelves are packed with all kinds of novelty and gift items, some more suited to the tourist but they have cute teddy bears and lots of nick knacks ideal as a small gift for someone. They have a huge array of cards for all types of celebration events and varying in prices. Handy for picking up a newspaper, postcards cigarettes, chocolate and upstairs there is a restaurant.... I had lunch earlier in the day and my breath smelled of garlic so dropped into this shop to get some mints or chewing gum. It's much bigger than I thought. There's cards, souvenirs and stationary in the basement with your usual papers and magazines on the ground floor. It's probably one of the busiest newsagents in the city. The shop sells cigarettes, bus tickets, sweets and cold drinks too. You can also find some cheap souvenirs of Ireland. ... Read more...

Expensive chocolate!

(03 February 2011)

I was in here over the weekend buying the papers and I saw when I was paying that all of their confectionery is very highly priced - there were no bars for under a euro! The newsagents is fine if you're buying things with predetermined prices, like papers or cigarettes, otherwise it's incredibly expensive. Downstairs it has a good range of greetings cards, so I'd usually pop in here for them - they're expensive everywhere. There are also a few gifts and tourist souvenirs, which aren't priced... This shop near the Trinity College end of Grafton Street and a few doors from McDonalds is great to pop into for your Lotto tickets, newspaper and magazines and also greeting cards. They have a medium sized basement full of greeting cards, diaries, calendars, gifts and stationery items. The ground floor also has fridge with drinks and you can guy sweets and chocolates at the main counter when purchasing your lotto of magazines. Also extremely busy but usually 3 staff behind the small... Read more...

A Well-Placed Shop

(02 August 2010)

Despite it's name, you're not going to catch the bus at this shop. Instead, it's a newsagent that sells confectionery on the ground level and stationery in the tier below the ground. With a branch located on Grafton street right by Trinity College, it is indeed a handy spot to grab something to keep you going later on in the evening. The confectionery section is quite decent, with some brands and novelties you would not find in most shops. The prices are OK, the same range you would expect... Read more...

Near a bus stop shop!

I was on my way to Kildare St so i went into the Bus Stop shop to get a bottle of water. I can’t remember the exact price of the water but it was expensive for the brand. Im sure the rents are very high but i doubt ill be purchasing water there again. That said, it’s close to Trinity and it’s in a very god area so im sure it would attract a lot of tourists, who are willing to pay that bit extra. The shop did have a good selection of goods and from what the others reviewers... Read more...
