WOW! I could finish my review now.....you've probably got the message!! This is so good, very REAL MEXICAN FOOD!! And we're very far from Mexico, which is what makes it all the better. I've eaten here a few times since I first discovered it, my friend was raving about it, so I had to go and try it myself. When you're new in a town, it's hard to discover what's good and what isn't, trial and error. Azteca is now top of my list of places I'll be a regular. My favourite menu item is the... Read more...

I love this place as i am a big fan of mexican food. they do really great authentic food and it is so tasty. i love all the dishes they make but i don't like it over spicy so i always stress this when ordering. i have heard about their free cookery lessons and i am definately going to try them soon. the food here is cheap and cheerful definately worth trying for a nice lunch or evening meal.... This is a really nice, smallish Mexican restaurant, run by the very friendly Hugo, who is so passionate about his authentic food that he offers free cooking lessons in the restaurant for any diners who are keen to recreate the menu at home. I may be wrong, but this is the only place I can recall seeing Tamales on the menu in Dublin. They were as good as any I'd had in Mexico or Central America. The burritos are fantastic - they're quite happy to let you design your own too. The refried beans... Read more...

The nice folk at Cafe Azteca are happy to call out to your place of business and give your staff or social club lessons in how to cook real Mexican food. The lessons are free you just pay for the ingredients, circa €20. You can also visit the cafe for lessons as well, Monday to Friday 6.p.m. to 8. p.m. If you fancy making your own tortillas you can buy a 2kg bag of Maseca Cornflour here. If you do they have an offer of a free tin of Jalapenos with every purchase. A good evenings... Read more...

Another place that I go to when I have had to deal with the bank and need some sustenance to get me back up the "hill' to the office... Tasty and pretty authentic tasting Mexican food is the fare- owners are Mexican, very friendly and full of chat. I tend to go for the quesadilla and/or soup - they are always excellent and hit the spot. All made there and then and ingredients seem to be good quality with decent fresh salsa. Price is ok - comparable to other lunch spots. Decor not up to... Read more...
