I like this restaurant it is a handy little place to get to. it is not the best Italian i have ever eaten in but it is nice the food is tasty. It does fairly well. I like sitting downstairs as opposed to upstairs for some reason. i really like italian food and this is a purly italian restaurant. the staff are very nice and they usually have a specials menu which offers good value for your money. ... I love right beside this place but have only eaten here once, for reasons unknown, because it genuinely is a nice place with decent enough food at a decent price. The place is cosy and nice with seating upstairs and downstairs, the menu is good with a nice variety of Italian dishes, the service is good and the waiting staff are lovely. It is 100% authentic Italian restaurant, but its not the best Italian restaurant ive eaten in.... Read more...

This place is neither good nor bad. I've had good food there and bad food there. The staff are really lovely. I did get fish once that was on the special and my guess is that they were trying to get rid of the fish before it went bad. The pizza is nice. It's a bit touch and go really. I'd recommend staying clear of the fish and going for pizza. Fairly child friendly too, so a good local place to bring the kids.... Read more...

Ive gone here a few times and it is really cosy and intimate, also the staff are extremely courteous. However the food is standard italian fare, it tastes nice(the carbanara is divine, the risotta plain) it would be more a local diner than a fancy restaurant, not bad if you want to grab a nice meal in a nice surrounding, however it wouldnt be outstanding so maybe look elsewhere for special occasions.... I don't know what it is about this place, but I seem to have a love hate relationship with it. Don't get me wrong, the food is generally ok, the staff friendly and the ambience ok. After all it's a 100% italian restuarant owned and run by Italians. All the waiting staff are Italian as are most of the wines on the menu.
