You just have to walk into Chartbusters in Ballinteer to see how much the typical video store has had to change to compete with downloading, online streaming, the cinema and of course, just waiting until the film is released and you can buy it for little more than you would pay to rent it. Because of this reason, you can now access the internet at reasonable rates. They offer printing and photocopying also. The longest queues always seem to be for the tanning though. Rocky IV to the Wrestler!

Just as well this place went into examership and came out the other end in good health, as it need a good kick in the arse. The new owners obviously realised the biggest problem relatively quickly - lack of new releases. Up to recently the newest video's they had was Rocky IV. Ok that maybe an exaggeration, but you get my drift. Picked up the Wrestler here last night, which only highlights the difference in new releases.
