Excellent Chinese !!

I'm also one of those loyal China Sichuan customers that have been coming back to this family run restaurant for a number of years - and there is a reason why I keep coming back. It could be the friendly welcome from the owners and staff but it is definately for the food - it is sensational. Lettuce wraps are a must, as is the salt and pepper squid shreds. I went here a while back for my first Chinese in a few years. Having had abandoned Chinese to jump on the Thai/Vietnamese bandwagon this place made me question that decision! Very rare to come across such a nice Chinese restaurant- it's not the cheapest but the food is really really good and they do quite a reasonable early bird. china sichuan open again

This chinese has opened again (phew!!). Iw as getting withdrawl symptoms so was delighted to be able to eat here again last friday. the menu has changed slightly with more choice now! the early bird (which I think goes all night) is excellent value at €20 for starter and main or main and glass wine! includes rice etc... ... Best Chinese in Dublin

I have been going to the China Sichuan Restuarant for years (I used to work there in college) It is top notch food! All the chefs are from the Sichuan region in China.The menu is quite small but every dish is amazing. Its not cheap compared to other chinese restaurants but the food is so good it is more than worth it. They do an early bird menu also which is great value and has some good choices. China Sichuan Restaurant Restaurant in Sandyford is one of those restaurants that is busy during office hours because any time we went for lunch there was always a fairly packed lunchroom. It was a little warm inside when we arrived but fine once we sat down. The room is nicely decorated, clean and lots of room between tables. A friend of mine had raved about the Sichuan restaurant so I had to try it. I really liked the decor, and the low lighting made the whole place very intimate. The food was fantastic. I had a spring roll starter, which was very fresh - something a lot of Chinese restaurants don't manage. There was a wide selection for my vegetarian friend. Have been looking forward to going here for ages now on recommendation from friends, so off we headed last night. Contemporary in design it could pass for any style of restaurant, but is very much a chinese restaurant. Now our friends admit that they go here once a week and were recently devastated when China Sichuan closed for a few months during the winter. Still Good Food

I used to eat in the old Schuan in Kilmacud and loved the food and the decor. Staff were always friendly. Sichuan Restaurant is now located in the Beacon Quarter in Sandyford located about 100 yards from the Stillorgan Luas stop. They still serve good food in the new one in the Beacon quarter and the service and staff great. Men and decor a lot different than their old restaurant but still nice. Good Chinese in Sandyford

This is a great restaurant in terms of food - menu is unusual and has more variety than your average chinese. We didn't find the service to be overly friendly, but they weren't rude either. The biggest downside is the location, its in the middle of the Sandyford Industrial estate, so the nearest place to go for a drink before or after a meal is the Beacon Hotel. ... Read more...
