Favourite cinema in Dublin

(29 November 2011)

Cineworld on Parnell Street is my favourite cinema to go to in Dublin. it is quite a large cinema, which of course will have all the current films showing. They always have enough staff to get through the ques quickly. There is a bar located upstairs which serves food and drink which is great if you want to have some hot snack food or a drink while you are waiting. Food is quite nice if you are a little hungry. The seats are pretty comfy, much more comfy than some cinemas. The screens... Read more...

Good City Centre Venue

If you work in the city this is a handy spot to catch a movie. If you fancy a bite to eat it is located next to the woolsheed bar which has great food and atmosphere. The cinema itself also has a bar for some pre- show drinks. The screens are huge, there is plenty of choice with movies and they have special showings throughout the year. If you go to the cinema 2-3 times a week I would recommend you sign up fo the cinema membership, it is 20 euro per month and you can see unlimited movies. ... Read more...

Carlesburg don't do Cinemas

In the Dublin City Centre there are two main cinemas, and a bunch of smaller ones too; Cineworld, Savoy, Screen, IFI etc. As well as pubs doing special screenings of things etc. I would rate Cineworld as the cream of the crop. If you just want your cinema trip; the screens are excellent, acoustics and audio are top notch, seating is comfortable, food is abundant in choice (still on the expensive side, but that's cinemas for you), the pick and mix is as fresh as can be and there is a pub... Any day, any time, any movie! The cinema is big, staff friendly and cleaner than in other cinemas.... ... Read more...

Decent Cinema

Cineworld is a really large cinema located on parnell st, north city centre. They have lots of screens and a great selection of films. For anyone who is a big cinema goer I would definitely recommend as the offer an unlimited card for €20 a month. This means you can go to the cinema as many times as you like and really is good value considering a cinema ticket is €10 odd a turn. It has all the newest films and regular showings. It offers the usual in services, over-priced drinks and... Read more...

I have always found this cinema very good and shows all the latest movies. It is located right on Parnell Street. The seats are comfortable and tiered so makes it easy to see the movie without a head blocking your view. I have gone to a few movies and the sound and view has always been very good. It works out an expensive evening going to the cinema, but if the film is good and the overall experience is good then it is worth it to get to see all the latest movies on the big screens.... this has to be my favourite cinema..i always pick this one when choosing.. Film choice is excellent with so many screens..to much price on tickets and sweets at cineworld... The seats are OK but some of them are ripped, the drink holders broken and some of the seats are wobbly. Never seem to have to queue to buy tickets but if you want to buy food tahts a different story. the queue for popcorn and drinks is always long... Read more...

Good Cinema

I have been to this Cinema a number of time and have always had a good experience. The fact that they have 17 screens is great as there is always a wide selection of films to choose from. It can work out expensive when going to see a film here and confectionery can cost you a small fortune. They do have lower rates for cinema tickets for films shown before 12:00 which can be good and a little lighter on the pocket. If you are looking for a family few hours or a quiet night out with the girls or... Read more...
