Last time i was in this place was about 7 years ago in first year of college. We went out on a college night out i think it may have been linked to a official college night out. My god we got hammered bouncers kept going mad cause the lads kept trying to break dance lol. I remember this place being a bit all over the place and hard to get a seat. They did infact play cheesy pop and dance music which is always good. Most of the night was spent in a drunken haze and have always promised to go... Read more...

Eastern bloc 80s
(08 February 2010)

This place has very good 80s music, so top marks for that part. However, unfortunately a nightclub is more than just the music. This place should learn about customer service - I would recommend the management have a look at Fergal Quinns book "crowning the customer". A night here will start with an interogation by unprofessional bouncers (numbering 3/4/5 standing at the front enterance- anyone find that a bit intimidating?) The whole night is like that point at a wedding when the cheesy music goes on and everyone's drunk enough to throw themselves on the dancefloor. Hilarious. People were actually slowdancing. As Joey B mentioned it is one of those places where you keep inadvertently breaking the "rules" - can't take your pint in here, can't take your coat in another area, that kinda thing. But I forgive them... Read more...

80's night...cuz that's how we roll!
(07 February 2010)

For some reason I can't explain, I willingly agreed to go to 80's night at Club Nassau last night, Club Nausea as it's fondly known. Last time I was there was the night of my debs when it wasn't so much an 80's night more just a night! Aside from the insane amount of rules governing the jacket wearing and non-jacket wearing portions of the evening (the rules of which I'm still not clear on), and the obvious cheesiness of a place that happilly claims to be 'The Home of the Slow Set', that's...
