as all the previous reviewers have said Coast stocks a great range of dressy / formal wear for special occasions like weddings / parties etc They are on the expensive side but they are not high trend driven so wont date kinda dress you could have in your wardrobe for every. Fab accessories but you need to be careful when wearin to an event as possible there will be more then one of you wearing same outfit... Read more...

Well, if you have an occasion coming up, then Coast is definitely the place to come for your fancy frock. They also have an outlet in Kildare Village which if memory serves is a bit cheaper than the other branches.It is one of those places you come to treat yourself as it is on the pricier sides but their stuff is just fabulous and really has that couture feel about it that you wouldn't get from cheaper stores.... I like this shop. if you need a dress for a formal occasion like a wedding, party, races etc you are guaranteed to get it here. they have great styles and they have a fab range of long dresses in stock at the minute.. they always have an excellent sale too. i have gotten a few dresses here and have splashed out and bought the shoes and bag to match! they have great accessories too like chains, ear rings head pieces but they can be a bit pricy so get them in the sale!... Good for wedding outfits

This shop has lovely outfits for formal events, such as weddings or going to the races. It's a bit too expensive for everyday wear but not outrageous for something for a special occasion - the clothes are fairly classic so they won't be out of fashion the following year. I agree with the other reviewer who said that there's a fair chance you'll turn up in the same outfit as someone else - everyone I know goes to this shop if they're looking for something for a ball or a wedding. I really love coast and always get dresses there fore weddings parties etc. They have a beautiful selection of dresses to suit all shapes and sizes and the staff are very friendly they always give good advice. The only worry I have is that someone will have the same dress as me!! Thankfully that has not happened so far but I always try to wear accessories that change the dress alittle, just in case!... I like coast if i was going to a wedding or some formal event coast is always where i would head first. There is always a nice selection of dresses and some have matching hand bags the prices are quite good for that kind of clothing. when there is a sale on they reduce the thing quite a lot and you can get a good deal. coast sell formal dresses, evening gowns, bridesmaids' dresses, clutches and some costume jewellery. i know loads of girls who have bought their debs dress or college ball dress here. they also have dresses for older women too for weddings etc. i got a lovely pink floor-length dress here but find that although they do sell some nice things, they also sell other dresses that just seem to be missing something and lacking oomph factor. can be quite pricey at times but you can be lucky.... If your looking for ocassion wear, then Coast is a great place to head. This was one of the many stores i trecked through when i was looking for a beds dress. Nowadays its somewhere i go for a look if i need something for a wedding or my birthday. A look of the clothes look quiet rich and there are plenty of satins here. A lot of the dresses are sculpted and give you a good shape. The dresses here aren't cheap so you'd want to wear it more than once to get value for money.... Read more...

I only ever set foot in Coast when I am going "Ball shopping" for an outfit for a high formal event. They have a wonderous array of cocktail dresses, probably the most remarkable in the city, that stick to really classic, elegant patterns often featuring intricate and delicate designs and lace patterns. I first met Coast in BT stores, and then noticed it has its own store next to Topshop on the green. The dresses are fancy and formal. Most are just below the knee and there are many matching bags. Loads of colours to choose from-this is not a boring shop!! I got a gorgeous coral pink full length dress here and wore it to a ball, but after it had been dry cleaned, the length had shrunk much to my dismay, so in order for me to wear it again I have to wear flat shoes-so disappointing!... I think that Coast do have some lovely dresses for a more formal occasion such as a wedding or special occasion. They have really well fit styles and the colours are really good all year round. I would say that they are pricey, well more expensive than a lot of shops, but they do have hav frequent sales where you can pick up a bargain or three haha! Even though I can't afford it, I always love a peak around Coast. They have beautiful dresses and clothes made of top quality. Whether you're shopping for a wedding or summer dress they'll have something to suit you. Although beware! When it comes to the Debs and weddings everyone thinks COAST, and this is can often result in people wearing the same dresses, so maybe branch out for a big occassion. ... Read more...
