On the crossroads.

This pub is pretty famous for both good and bad reasons. Located on the crossroads in Rathgar village they always serve a great pint and a good carvery lunch. A few years back there was some family squabbling that got a lot of bad publicity for the group. I have eaten here on many occasions when I worked in the area. There is a great smoking area if you need to have a cigarette. ... Read more...

This is a very good all-rounder. It seems to busy all the time. Lunch is really good here & chefs and lunchtime staff are excellent. Its even good for just a cup of coffee. Comans attracts everyone - from businesspeople to students. Its got a welcoming atmosphere and a good vibe. Its very good for sports games. Parking is not the best - they have a small carpark where you have to pay :( . (that what I'm deducting the star for)... Read more...

great for lunch

Comans is a great pub. The food is great at a reasonable price. Overall a good place to meet up and have a few pints with friends. The pub is great for soccer and rugby games, full of flat screen TV's, but with a large area for those not interested in the matches. The pints are great if a little expensive even for this neck of the wood. The food has always been excellent especially lunch. ... Read more...

I like the decor used in Coman's and I find it a really comfortable pub - however their pricing is a bit on the sore side and is the main reason I've drastically cut back on my visits there. ... Read more...

Great pub - something for everyone

This pub is split into a number of different areas depending on the vibe you are looking for. There is a big modern lounge with big screens, table service, food etc. Whilst lacking somewhat in atmosphere it is great for watching games - esp if like me you have no TV! The Bottlers which is the bar part of the pub is very cosy, old man feel with friendly and competent bar staff. Pints are always good and if you can get yourself a seat in the snug so much the better. For the smokers there is... Read more...
