I went here about two months ago with one of my friends, and honestly it was one of the best nights out I had in a long long time! The buzz is great in here, the music fantastic, and always packed! Have to say that I dont like this place very much, it gets very busy alright but at the end of the day if you can't enjoy it then its a big problem! The place was mad busy on the few nights that I was there and its that busy that you cant even get moving! Its a safety hazzard if nothing else! The security in there are also a but rough, I saw them kick a few people out by manhandling them which I didnt think was very professional! I wouldnt be in any rush back to that place anyways!... I have had some good and some terrible nights in here. It is a nightclub attached to a hotel on harcourt street, south city centre. It is based over 2 levels with a large beer garden. It attracts a big crowd with varied age groups just depends on what night you attend. It is open 7 nights a week until 3AM. It has quite a reputation, famous for nurses, guards and prison officers as well as culchies. The DJ usually plays chart music with the odd old favourite thrown in so from that point of view... what a fantastic night club, would say it was one of the best night clubs in the city. Secturity can be quite strict on letting people in. Make sure your not to drunk tying to get in as they will turn you away they can also be really strict when it comes to having your id if your young looking so make sure you have it with you for all of you that look younger than you are...well for you... Probably the most famous nightclub in Dublin and in my opinion the worst. Only decent thing is the music, mostly chart stuff. Always packed and a very young crowd on a sat . night. Prepare to be trampled to get served at the bar. There is little or no seating but a fairly good sized smoking garden. you need to be really drunk to get any enjoyment out of this place... good mix

I always enjoy Copper Face and the crowd are a good mix of ages and professionals. Good music and the dance is all right. It well located on Harcourt Street not far from the Luas Stop. It's one of many good clubs around Harcourt Street and we have tried several of them. Last time I was dancing there a friend lost their glasses on the dance floor, several dance movements later and with help from one of the bouncers retrieved their glasses all bent but managed to put them back together again.... Havent been here in absolute ages and have now been here the last two Fridays. On both occassions it has been late into the night well actually early morning and it just hasn't changed a bit, It's lively, music is good, drink is overpriced and thrown at you and its packed. Always a good spot to go to finish the night if you have a good crowd with you and not a place to be sober. Still will end up there again even if it is a long time before I'm there again... This place is definitely a meat market but you can get past that when you are with your friends and just having a good time oblivious to whatever else is or isn't going on around you.I always have good crack here, especially if theres been a match on that day, the crack is mighty.It is usually packed out but sure thats half the fun and theres a nice crowd in here too.... Most entertaining meat market in town

This place is a kip but it's a great night out. If you want to go out on a mad one from Sunday to Wednesday this is pretty much the only club that is guaranteed to be jam packed. It's a complete meat market, but it's incredibly entertaining to watch the antics. There's always a great mix of people in here and it's very friendly. Copper Face Jacks, Coppers or the popularly termed "slapper" face jacks due to the associated promiscuity. Coppers is a legend in the Dublin clubbing circuit. It is very expensive with a cover charge and expensive drinks once you get in. But it can afford to be since it is always packed. i can not for the life of me see the attraction of copper face jacks. i never have had a good night in there and i do not have high standards. i think its just way to expensive and always far to packed to enjoy it. Lets just say people only go to this place whern they are drunk. As a result it makes for good people watching if your sober for example people make a show of themselves by dancing like crazy or falling over the place. I always cringe for people in here. It is not a pleasant atmosphere as its usually packed and there is a queue for a drink, toilet etc. Have to be drunk to enjoy it!... Read more...
