One of the best places in the country for vegans and vegetarians alike. Cornocopia is a Vegetarian & Wholefood restaurant that caters for many different dietry requirements, be it Vegan, Coeliac or Sugar/Gluten/Wheat free and many more. I cant recommend this place highly enough. Even meat eating friends have thoroughly enjoyed eating here. A walm, welcoming environment and an extensive menu that offers a variety of different options for regulars. ... Read more...

I adore this restaurant! Cant believe that I only just went there for the first time a few days ago! Went for lunch after college with some friends. Thought as soon as I walked in, this place has a really cool atmosphere, not at all pretentious, it was a warm atmosphere, and the place is pretty traditional, as in, it has all types of people, all types of food, but lots of wooden tables, etc and a sort of queue up dinner lady counter feel! The place does actually the most AMAZING brown or seeded... Read more...

This place offers great variety in terms of the menu which is different on a day to day basis. The staff are friendly, and the restaurant offers an extensive range of food, including tasty salads and delicious quiches. All in all it is rather a very healthy and nice place to eat, so it is a wise decision to come here if for example you are trying to detox or just looking after your diet and health in general.... Veggie heaven.

Thinking vegetarian food always reminds me of the time we flew to Lubeck in northern Germany with Ryanair. I am glad we availed of the flight as Ryanair has now scrapped this route. It was a great back door airport for visiting Hamburg. Lubeck is a lovely little town and what made it very memorable for us was a lovely meal at Cafe Affenbrot www.cafeaffenbrot.de. So whenever I am in Dublin city and want something slightly different and tasty we head to Cornucopia Restaurant. There is always a... Read more...

Cornucopia
(23 January 2011)

If you enjoy good vegitarian cooking you'll love Cornucopia. The salads are delicious, the mains are always very tasty and if you're feeling indulgent they have some lovely desserts. The menu changes all the time so you've got to check out the menu board, it's a litle hard to read by times which can be frustrating if you order something but the next person in the queue orders something nicer you didn't even know was available... food envy is not a nice feeling!... It would have got 5 stars if they served meat :D

Have eaten here many times - delicious mains and salads. The mains do seem extremely calorific but they're very tasty. A bit annoying that you're charged extra for a piece of bread if you're having soup - everywhere else includes it for free. Good atmosphere, has recently more than doubled in size so there's no fighting for a seat anymore. Food really is delicious, I'd love to see what those chefs could do if they were allowed to add meat to their recipes!... Read more...

Yummy Veggie Tasty Food
(12 December 2010)
by: Aoibheann S. 4 out of 5
I'm not a veggie but having tried the food in this place I'd be willing to change. The food here is yummy tasty veggie fare and it is delicious. It can be a bit pricey so watch out when ordering. There's a real hippy, trendy vibe in the restaurant. I've noticed the restaurant has been made bigger in recent times. I welcome the extra space guys. Free water to wash it all down. Nice salads too.... Read more...

Flavourless
(24 November 2010)
by: Gillian B. 2 out of 5
I went in here recently as I am on a wheat & gluten free diet and I had heard that they cater to this diet. I ordered soup and bread and I have to say I was really dissappointed. The soup was flavourless and the bread was not the freshest. Also the prices were very high for such plain food. I will not be returning... Read more...

Something for everyone
(20 October 2010)
by: Paul B. 4 out of 5
I think vegetarian restaurants are becoming increasingly popular around Dublin and as far as veggy restaurants are concerned Cornucopia definitely sets a high standard. Its a busy , welcoming and informal type of place - no reservations taken. Main courses are all around 10 - 12 euro and they also have a good selection of soups, cakes and breads. Have brought a few staunch carnivores here and they've ended up liking the place. Its not expensive and if you haven't been don't be put off by the... Read more...

Mmmmmm...i love Cornucopia! Tasty, tasty food! Has a decent selection of different vegetarian and vegan foods every day. There's a mixture of hot dishes, soups, salads and wraps. Main meals (hot dishes) are usually around 12 euro and they come with your choice of two salads which are all yummy. Great selection of pastries and cakes too which covers everything from choccie cake to breakfast type muffins. Soups are all really tasty and they have fresh baked bread. Even better now that they have... Read more...

Delicious
(17 September 2010)
by: Tomás K. 4 out of 5
Almost all the food in Cornocopia is absolutely delicious, and you can be guaranteed that it's healthy. I'm not a huge vegetarian food fan, but the food here is well worth tasting and is a great place to bring a vegetarian. Or a hippy. I love the way they tell you which food is suitable for those allergic to lactose, nuts, gluten etc., it'd be very handy if more places did this. Their chocolate cookies are to die for! ...
