I have only eaten here once and I was very impressed. The location is wonderful and Malahide itself is a very pretty village. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly. Our food was cooked beautifully. The restaurant was busy when we were there yet service was still fast. The restaurant was clean and so were the toilets. Not veggie friendly

i have been to this restaurant many times over the years. It is located in Malahide marina; the views are very nice however they do not cater very well for vegetarians. Generally they only have one choice and if you dont like it tuff. All the meat/fish eaters at my table love the food however so it is just a shame that they are not veggie friendly. My husband brought me here for lunch for our 1st anniversary in August and i really liked the food! The restaurant is set overlooking the marina which is a big plus! The restaurant is really big and spacious and staff where very polite and helpfull! The portions are really small for the price you pay but the food was delicious! The only down side i had to the restaurant is u are constantly being asked if u want more drinks, and the drinks aint cheap! overall tho really nice experience!... Read more...

I came here for a meal on my Hens night and although the resaturant is set in a fabulous location overlooking the harbour the food or service was not impressive. We han a group of a bout 12 at our table and I found the staff to be nice but cery slow in taking orders and bringing out food I think we aere waiting approx 1 hour between our starter and main course and we had chosen a set menu to avoid this, the food itself was quite good but not as good as it should have been for the price we paid.... Cruzzo restaurant is located in the marina in malahide and has truly amazing views. There is a bar downstairs which is lovely to have a drink and look out at the boats. The food in the restaurant is lovely however the portion size is far to small. I know nice restaurants do this but for the price you are paying it would be worth a little more. Cruzzo's is a top class Restaurant in Malahide, boasting exquisite views over the Marina.It is a mixture of fine dining and romantic piano bar. My sister in law had her wedding reception here, and it was lovely. Everyone was able to gather downstairs and have a drink in the bar and then we were brought to our table. This is a good restaurant. The views are absolutely amazing over the marina and the food is good. However it is a bit overpriced. I would only come here for the early bird as it is overpriced otherwise. As a vegetarian, this is the first restaurant I have been to that didnt offer to tell me what the vegetarian option is and just said that they would give me whatever it is!!! this is situated in a lovely spot, right in the centre of the malahide marina. it is quite an up market resturant and the prices reflect this accordingly. the potato and garlic soup while the cheapest starter on the menu comes in at a reasonable price of six euro. the fillet of beef is thirty euro but well worth treating yourself too. the desserts are delicious starting at seven euro for sticky toffee pudding.... I am not a huge fan of Cruzzo's, I love where the restaurant is located, I love the views out over Malahide, over the sea, irelands eye and lambay island. Its absolutely beautiful at sunset and that is really the only reason my husband can convince me to keep coming back. He likes their food, I dont particularly like it. I had heard so many good reviews for this restaurant that i decided to try it out for myself. the restaurant is in a fab location next to the port in Malahide so the view is beautiful. The menu is good and it offers a good selection to suit all tastes. they have alot of fish dishes too. Cruzzo's restaurant has a lovely setting looking out to the seafront and it's tastefully decorated inside too. Food is also good quality. thats all the positives. Haven eaten here on severl occassions I can only say that its not all its cracked up to be. While the setting of this retaurant is nice being on the marina - the food is definitely not worth the money . There are far better restaurants out there which are better value for money... Read more...
