DID is very good store. Always with a lot of diferent offers and deals. Perfect if you need to buy something electric. Theres a big nice store in Tallaght.. The staff is ok...well i saw better... Well the products there are not that good quality. We bought there a GPSnfor almost 200e...and it was too much ,'cause than we so the same one in a different shop for about 150e. So before you buy something there,look through other shops too. And Also this GPS ,we used it only few times in about 4... Read more...

this is in a complex right beside the square, next to the smyths toystore. it is in a good central location and easily accessible from the square, from the village and also from the belgard road. the shop has all the usual current did electrical offers and specials. there is ample parking, however the access road to the parking is quite narrow and there can often by jams when larger vehicles enter... DID shops are always good for sales. The Tallaght one had a massive stock of TVs the last time I was there. Got a new TV and they matched the price with Powercity. I have no real loyalty to any particular shop when it comes to price, and DID customer service is always good. Sometimes it is difficult to get one of the floor staff to help you as this place is always busy. And they took my old TV (which had a cracked screen) away.... Read more...

DID - Great website & Store

I remember the first DID electrical store was a small one located on the Sundrive Road in Crumlin and now they've branched out all over the place, brilliant big and bold stores with the same high quality in goods they had when I remembered that tight squeeze of a little shop in Crumlin all those years ago. Can you imagine having an oven for eight long years and it taking you six to finally figure out to actually use even though after lots of TLC you find that your cleaning products have completely made the dial numbers vanish and are now replaced with scarlet red nail varnish indicating 180oC the most preferred temperature for baking! The thing i like best about DID electrical is that the place is so well laid out. You can just walk in and see all the products on offer they are there for you to look at and examoine hands on. the prices are also clearly labeled which i like. the staff are very friendly and hel[pful and they give good advice. the shop is conveniently located and has good parking facilities.... Although not as big a store as Powercity it still manage to display everything really well and they carry a large range of products. The staff really know their stuff and are happy to help you with any queries. A couple of years ago I was looking to buy a particular washing machine which they didn't stock. Got my laptop in here two years ago and the service was excellent. The sales assistant knocked a few quid off the price because I'd seen a similar laptop elsewhere at a lower price, and was able to answer all of my questions, and much to my joy they don't pressure sell. There are no worries if you want to come back a few days later instead of buying a product there and then, which is something I really like.... Read more...

Nearly as good as Power City

DID is almost as good as its major competitor 'Power City'. Like Powercity, it allows for good bargaining which is always a good thing! The range of TVs are good, stock the newest electrical accessories etc... and are basically a very good and reliable place to buy an electrical product. The only reason why it gets three stars is that DID in Tallaght is smaller than Power city in Tallaght and that is it. A great place to shop.... Read more...
