We dropped in here recently for a breakfast. In fact you can get an all day breakfast which is great when you have a longing. This place is always busy and you can be kept waiting. Now called Bistro 6 West. Look for their daily specials which are always changing and different. There is patio area out the back where you can enjoy a summer snack. This is a great place to stop for a coffee, breakfast or brunch in Terenure. The staff are pleasant, the prices reasonable and the food is great. It is well worth visiting. Try the Lasagne or the Mini breakfast, my favourites. Nice coffees and teas too. The rest of the items on the menu look pretty yummy aswell. A Pleasant Place to Stop for Food

Delicate Essence, founded over the past few years, is a family-run delicatessen and a very well run one too; set right by the Terenure Inn and Bellagio, it's relatively easy to get to and normally has an corner to settle into. The soup varies from day to day and comes with croutons and a bit of bread, very suitable for winter afternoon. Surprise find

As soon as I tasted the salad I had ordered from this friendly, bright and clean cafe/restaurant I immediately looked around to see if I could spot who had created the tastes fireworking in my mouth. I wanted to hug the chef for the Spinach, goats cheese, butternut squash, walnut and balsamic dressing masterpiece on my plate.
