New security area
(25 April 2012)
by: Audrey C. 5 out of 5
Dublin airport has a new security area and its very impressive. I was there last week and there were no queues. This is in terminal 1. The airport is easily accessible from the M1 and M50. Its easy to find parking in the multi-story car park. There are a lot of directions and signs showing visitors the way they should be going. The check-in desks are clearly marked. There are a lot of eating venues but I find these to be very expensive.... Read more...

Straight forward enough
(13 April 2012)
by: David K. 3 out of 5
Airports, and the few little things you're asked to comply with within them, is a pretty straight forward notion. Dublin airport is no different. I've never had an issue or problem and all has ran smoothly. Its location is fine - roughly a half an hour drive from the city centre. There's nothing convoluted about its set up. All in all, this airport is well functioning and generally what one should expect.... Read more...

new but expensive parking
(09 December 2011)
by: wina w. 3 out of 5
I always come here to send or collect my guests. The airport is lovely especially the new terminal.I tend to be busy during the peak season. The parking here quite expensive especially if you need to collect someone and the flights delayed.I normally had breakfast at McDonalds after sending someone if it is the early flight. The mcDonalds is ok but the staff tend to be quite slow to process the order.... fly away
(20 October 2011)
by: mammy d. 4 out of 5
Dublin Airport is becoming one of Europe's busiest with Intenational travel increasing every year. One of the outward bound traveller's favourite destinations is the shopping area. Most of Dublin City's retailers have outlets here, even food outlets are represented here. One of most popular departments is the perfume department because of the tax reduction. There are also many restuarants and bars and all are frequented by travellers. With the new departure area completed travelling is becoming... Read more...

Poor signage.
(20 October 2011)
by: Slugfest .. 3 out of 5
We landed at Terminal 2 on a recent return flight with Aer Lingus. Generally we sit at the front of the plane, at a cost, so we were one of the first off the plane. As we made the long walk back to the baggage carousel area, customs and exit we were struck by how quiet the whole place was. In fact when we reached the carousel area we didn't know where to go to exit. We had no luggage with us except carry ons and didn't need to hang around. We were the only people in the whole huge area. Not... Read more...

Dublin Airport
(25 September 2011)
by: Dee D. 3 out of 5
Dublin airport is very impressive and the new extension, not sure if we needed it as big. The excitement of going on holidays is usually held off until you have gone through security and on the plane and knowing you haven't forgotten anything. Compared to some of the airports I have been in Dublin Airport has everything, shops, restaurants, perfume shops, bars, bookshops and clothes shops and lots more well know shops that you could nearly spending all day there. Staff are always courteous and... Read more...

Ok
(23 September 2011)
by: Sonya C. 3 out of 5
I personally find this airport too big. Yes it has a great choice of flights in and out of it but you have to walk for miles to get to your terminal and with 4 kids it's not easy. There are a great selection of shops, restaurants, bars and duty free shops. Parking is cheap if done online so if you know you'll be flying out book online as early as possible to get the best price. ... Read more...

its great to finally have an airport that is equal to other cities round the world, so clean modern and spacious. flew from here in march and couldnt believe the difference. signage for parking was not great though and i ended up in the wrong lane , had to exit and do the full circle again.great selection of shops and eating areas.love the new departure lounge, nice bar and eating areas and even a hair salon.good offer for long term car park too but you must book on line. was roughly 5 euro a... Brilliant airport!
(18 September 2011)
by: Sean K. 5 out of 5
Dublin Airport is the only airport that I fly out of due to the new terminal being built. I always used to fly from Shannon but have noticed in recent years that it has become very poor and shabby in appearance. The new terminal in Dublin is terrific and has totally alleviated the chaos that was in the airport before this. The new terminal looks great and has introduced lots of new shops that you're able to have a look around in before you fly. The airport is also in a very easily accessible... Read more...

Dublin Airport
(20 August 2011)
by: oliver w. 3 out of 5
I find the airport especially since the extra terminal has been buit to be more spacious and more relaxing although that is probably because i don't fly as much and also because less people are flying from the old terminal due to the new terminal and that less people are flying. There is a good range of shops and services too... Read more...

New Terminal
(21 July 2011)
by: Stephen B. 4 out of 5
Great new terminal. Everything is all fresh and new its fantastic. They still have a great food hall upstairs with a burger king !!! Bingo !! I find it so much quicker to Q now and check in. There is plenty of staff around too to help and assist you. The only thing is its very expensive to park here you would be better of heading to the long term car park . All in all Dublin airport is great there is a great buzz and a nice atmosphere as people are heading off on there holidays.... Read more...
