One thing going for it

While the transport system in IReland is ridiculous, this is the one place you can bring all those change tickets and get your money back which is nice. Also, you can get swift and prompt information about what bus goes where and all of the routes have their planners and timetables there. Firstly Dublin Bus needs a massive overhaul. In Belgium commuters pay 1.70 flat rate to use all means of transport whereas in Dublin, the dart and Dublin bus and the Luas consider themselves in competition with eachother, How does this best serve the customer?It's ludicrous that so many busses have been pulled off much needed routes as well.The service is very dependant on where you live.... I completely agree with all of the other reviewers here who have been faced with negative attitudes from staff upon going in to cash in refund vouchers. Even though they must have been doing this for years now, they look like they're doing you a serious favour by giving you back your own money - tourists must be horrified. If this were the private sector this level of customer service would be completely unacceptable, but this lot obviously know they're unsackable and it shows.... Read more...

They basically like to make it as difficult as is humanly possible to issue refunds when you bring in your refund tickets. On one occassion a worker actually sighed when I handed in my tickets, as though it was ridiculous that I would expect to get my own money back off Dublin Bus because it was inconveniencing them. I kind of agree with Avrils comment. I let my 'refund due' tickets mount up and when i get €10-€20 euro worth, i go in here. To be honest ive never found the staff to be overly helpfull, in particular when id go in with the 'refund due' tickets. They do the job but with one or two of the staff i really get the feeling that they are bored and that they dont wont to be there. Tough! Ill be back in a few weeks. Ive €22.20 to collect!... Good service here and convenient location in city centre

Always a great supply of bus timetable leaflets here to pick up along with various small maps. Helpful staff and very easy to get refunds on bus tickets when you have overpaid fares etc. Easy to find on O'Connell Street so very convenient.... Read more...

I agree with Avril. Refund tickets in this place are not worth the hassle. Went in to cash in around a fiver worth before (as I was calling in ANYWAY to pay a fine), and you'd swear they'd never even SEEN a refund ticket before, even though they happily processed my fine. I now pass on all my refund tickets to my brother so he can deal with their incompetence. ALSO, this is the place that processes complaints. Im forever not having the right amount of money for the bus and get those horrible refund tickets. This is the only place to cash them in.I decided to go in recently as ive loads now to claim my 10 euro yes 10 euro back off dublin bus but my god was it an adventure. I was waiting ages then when i was called to the desk they disapered off with my tickets for ages.
