Excellent toys but expensive

(26 January 2012)

This is not a toy store, it is an institution. This is a wonderful store which promotes learning from a young age, heck it's even in the name. While the toys are expensive they are worth it. They are made properly with good wholesome materials and they stimulate a child's brain from a young age with more then shiny colors and harsh plastic. A lot of the toys are animal centered and you can't help but look good buying a gift for a niece or a nephew from here, as you can even get something... Read more...

Expensive

I like the toys in Early Learning Centre as I find them to be colourful and robust as well as educational. The staff are good at directing you to a toy suitable for the child you are buying for and I love their Happy Land range. I just find them quite expensive when you compare them to other toy shops, which is a shame as I feel I would shop here more often if they were more competitive. I do still pop in to get some of their arts and crafts stuff for my little ones. I think their... Read more...

Educational but expensive

Yes the toys are educational (for the most part) but they are very pricey as well. To be honest you can find educational toys in other shops like Smyths as well if you look for them. I just find the Early Learning Centre overpriced. I used to go in there all the time to get some ideas but in the end I always ended up somewhere else to buy presents. Only a handful of times did I actually buy toys in there and then they were small things. ... Read more...

Love this store. It has such a great layout, design and clour scheme. It's such an exciting store for my kids that it is reallllyyyyy diffficult to get them to leave!! I think it's so important for kids toys to be educational and fun all at the same time, so I always try to buy presents from here, that way you don;t feel too bad about spoiling the child, you can always justify it by saying that it's educational!... Like an Educational Gift Shop

(31 October 2011)

Report

This shop is my child hood in a store. It's great for educational toys and models for little children and not as bad for their brains as some of the mind-numbingly simple games you can get in Smyths or Toys'r'us. The only downside is the expense. Like a Gift-store in a museum, the toys are beautiful, eye-catching, educational and oh so expensive. If you can get something in the bargain all the better, but try and not bring the kids in, as you will be guilted by them into buying the expensive... Read more...

the early learning center is a great store but can be hard on your pocket's . they are clean and tidy store's and there staff are very friendly and do anything to help you. they ahve great sales but you are best to pick up the bargin's there and then as not all there store's have the same product's on sale which is confusing at time's and dissapointing. they do alot of good reading book's for the kid's which are normally three for two which is good . they have great art's and craft's too which... This is a long narrow-ish shop that has utliised the space well, very good for jixsaws etc and yes they might be more pricey than symths etc but the quality of the toys are better, all toys or items in this shop are very functional and if you are looking to develop or focus on a particular skill in a child (fine motor skills, hand-eye co-ordination etc) then you will find a exact toy to target this, toys are more unique ad functionaly than your run of the mill toy shop.... The Early Learning centre is a fantastic place to shop for toys for babies and young children. Good quality toys from fun to educational. There are always several children in the shop playing away with some of the toys. Very educational and encourages and stimulate children’s mind and hand dexterity. Lovely books and art and crafts guaranteed top please any child and get their imagination going. Everything is divided into age groups so easy to find what you are looking for. ... Read more...

Must say i love this store. I can not pass it though when i have my little one with me, as soon as we're near she runs to it to see the bubbles or the dinosaur outside. The toys from it are sturdy and last not like some other toys. You may pay a bit more but they often have offers on so best to keep an eye out if you do have a toddlers birthday coming up you may pick up a bargain. The only downfall to this shop is it's size it is very awkward to move around the store and if there are more than... Read more...

Dont get me started on this shop. I got a present there for my sons first birthday, also my brother got the exact same present for my son, so I went back to exchange mine, they wouldn't do it even though I had the reciept and it was perfectly unopened. Found the staff really really rude, they have no manners would never shop there again. All there stuff is over priced... Read more...
