Good selection

Easons is well located on Galways busy shop street adjacent to Boots and McDonalds - so it's a great spot for passing trade. The store is well stocked both upstairs and downstairs. There is a fantastic magazine section to the left of the store as you enter with magazines for everyone from car enthusiasts to those with an eye for digital photography. It's well stocked and there's always offers and specials advertised, so it's not a bad place at all to pick up the latest best seller.... Read more...

Loving this shop

This is a great shop and conveniently located too on the main shopping street in Galway. My son loves reading so I always call in when I'm in the city to buy him a book or two. I love the childrens section at the back of the shop and my small kids always spend their time in there while I browse. They are well organised and all in separate categories making it easy to find what you are looking for. Well worth a visit as I'm sure you'll always leave a happy shopper.... Read more...

Huge variety of books!

I'm an avid book reader so I really enjoy having a good selection of books to choose from when purchasing books in a shop. Eason's have just that with lots of different genres to suit all audiences, they have lovely staff and accept book tokens (I have lots of them from old birthdays!) so I'm always content. They also do midnight openings for some books which I have found to be quite fun when they are on. They also have a stationary section upstairs with school books for anyone that's... Read more...

Easons

This is one of two branches of Easons in Galway, the other being in the location where Hughes and Hughes used to be. As its located on Shop Street, its always busy. They have a great selection of magazines and newspapers on sale, and unlike other magazine stockists they usually see through all the issues of those magaziness that come out in January (cookery series and the likes) to the bitter end! Everything is easy to locate as the signs are clear above the relevant sections. I don't like the... Read more...

Everything is very organised in here for all the books.i think this place is the best for magazines but there isn't much in the way of competition for books here. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable They stock loooads of magazines which of love so i don't have to go to my local store and ask them to order it in. they sell all school books here too. its always very busy i find. i do notice they don't sell a whole of a stationery which is disappointing.... Get them reading!

I'm a great believer in getting children reading while they're very young to give them good habits for life. A love of books, in my opinion, is a wonderful thing. I like to go into this branch of Easons to pick up books as gifts for my grandchildren, or failing that, to give gift vouchers so they can head in here with their parents to make their selections. This is a lovely branch of Easons, two floors and they sell everything from the daily paper to stationary. Its always busy here, but the... Read more...

I have used Easons in Galway on a number of occasions and left the store completely satisfied each time. I mostly have to use it for college purposes and they have quite a number of texts that lecturers use for as recommended readings. They also have good quality and reasonably priced stationary equipment.... Read more...

Easons is a wonderful book shop. Unfortunately I never have enough time when I go there to browse as much as I would like! There is a great selection of reading material, something for everyone. There are great bargains to be had too! The shop is well laid out and tidy. The stationery section is a bit small upstairs. Easons also stock newspapers from different parts of Ireland and the world which is welcoming to the people who are not native Galwegians!... Read more...

This is a wonderful book shop located down Shop St in Galway. They sell all types of books here from fiction to education. All the books are categorised into their own area of expertise and each section is well labelled above the book shelves and is therefore easily spotted. They also sell magazines and the daily newspaper here. The shop is nice and roomy with lots of space and is also clean and tidy.... Read more...
