For years I had heard of 'elephant and castle chicken wings' haha they are FAMOUS!!! So when my friends suggested we go there I was more than happy that I would finally get to experience them! I think there was around 7 or 8 of us and we all ordered chicken wings....very original I know ;) It was a funny vision to say the least! We ate as much as we could and had a lovely night! Well what can I say about this place delicious delicious. it's located smack bang in bustling Temple Bar so there is no parking unless you find a spot on the quays and walk down.The wings are the best ever. They are known for there buffalo wings. There burgers are gorgeous too. At the weekends it can be mental and can be very hard to get a seat here, but its well worth the wait once you get a seat. More than just wings

Elephant and Castle has a reputation for having amazing wings (and rightly so) but there is far more to this restaurant. Id recommend for everyone to branch out and try some of the other fantastic dishes. I often come here for a weekend brunch and would highly recommend it. The range of dishes is brilliant and there's the scope to try something new each visit. By getting in early you can beat the often quite bad queues. By all means try the chicken wings but don't be afraid to have a new dish... Read more...

I hadn’t been to Elephant & Castle for some time and as we were in the area recently decided to have lunch. Several seats available when we arrived but soon filled up and got seriously busy. The interior is nice and the service and food as on previous occasions was excellent. The food is nice and light but filling and presented very well, if a little pricey. Free coffee refills.... WE POPPED IN HERE ONE EVENING AND ALTHOUGH IT WAS VERY BUSY THE STAFF WERE VERY ACCOMADATING AND ASKED US TO COME BACK IN 20 MINUTES .. WHEN WE RETURNED THEY HAD TABLE READY FOR US WITH PLENTY OF SPACE FOR BUGGY AND BAGS. THEIR FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND YES THE CHICHEN WINGS DID LIVE UP TO EXPECTATIONS. The Wings make the trip to Dublin worth the effort!

Everyone has a favourite dish and the Wings in E&C are mine. I have tried wings all over the country and some come close but nothing has been better. Their other food is great also but I do tend to pig out on the wings and have trouble finishing anything else. Cant waith for my next visit.... Read more...

Such amazing chicken wings I only go here for the chicken wings. It's very hard to get a table here but once you do get a table it's fantastic. The service is great here your not waiting around for a long time. The portions are huge too. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere and its nice and comfy . We have been to this restaurant a few times. The food is always good, we have had their burgers and chicken wings, both nice and tasty. It can get packed at the weekends so can be difficult to get seats and you might be left waiting a while like what happened to us the last time we went. The staff are friendly and service can be hit or miss depending on how busy the place is. Loads of tourist seem to frequent the place and is always popular and a nice casual restaurant to eat in. ... Elephant and castle is meant to be the place to go in Dublin city center for their chicken wings and although they are very good they aren't as good as people say. I have had better. However this restaurant has got some lovely food and the staff are very friendly. Lovely to go to for a bit of lunch if you are around temple bar. Has to be the best place in Dublin for Wings.. worth the trip for these alone. Staff great last time I was there I was there I was 8.5mths pregnant and got me a chair & glass of water when waiting to be seated . very child friendly with colouring pencils & paper brought over straight away to keep our LO occupied, rush put on her food which was great, there is a reason there is a queue for a table...
