You can't go wrong with this 2 euro shop. It has a huge selection of products from sweets to stationery to household items to toys. Its a great place to go for a party - you can get the balloons, poppers, paper cups & plates, decorations etc here very cheaply. Little art sets for kids are good value or if you want a cheap set of batteries. I can never here without picking up a few items - even if its just a few packets of sweets.... Read more...

Very handy for picking up branded sweets and goodies even lucozade and water for much cheaper, sweets are on 2 or 3 for 2uro depending on which variety you choose from, they even do lindt choc eggs around easter time. Very goods for cards too where you can get 3cards for 2euro and they have cards for every occassion. Great for picking up small items for children or the household, somethings arent of great quality but for what you pay you cant expect much. Stock some branded toliteries aswell... Read more...

This is a fantastic shop and the Euro2 in Abbey Street has masses of products and is spotless and very neat and tidy. Great for picking up a few cheap kids toys as stocking fillers and their sweets are good value, great for handing out at the door at Halloween time. Most items are €2 and of course lots of other things above that but that’s the draw of the place and great for a good browse and see what interesting things they sell. They have those little hangers, in bright cololurs,... Read more...

This is a great shop to bring the kids into. They also do a great selection of stationary which is great if you have little ones in School. Great selection of sweets and cards and cleaning products. Great place to go to at Christmas to get bits for the christmas stockings. At christmas this shop does be packed out to the door, wouldn't bring a buggy in either as does be to crammed... Great store for getting bits and pieces in. From getting sweets for kids birthday party to household odds and ends its brilliant and so so cheap. I always get my washing colour catcher sheets and scented candles as they are far cheaper than other stores for them. They also do wonderful xmas decorations in the run up to the festive season or other special occasions such as Halloween or saint patricks day. This store is quite large and spacious compared to alot of the others. Also good value for... Read more...

I like this shop as its not all squashed as others, the only thing is i woudnt visit it if i wasnt looking for something in particular and cheaper. Maybe a photo frame, or greeting cards, but usually the way i find it is sometimes u go there and u find loads of small useful and cute things, and some days u go there and u see absolutely nothing..... This shop is good if you are lookoing for bargain item as everythinh is 2euro or even better sometimes they have 2 for 3euro.Not all products are good quality but it is good place for cheap sweets, chocolates, party wares and kids party bag filler.I do buy my kid's toy here as I don't mind throwing it after a few used.As I tend to spend a fortune on some toys but only been played a couple of times.... This is probably the biggest of the 2 euro shops in the city centre. There seems to always be queues here although they do seem to move quickly enough. They stock a great range of i gadget ( i think thats the name) stuff for your computer , and these are also great as stocking fillers, for example I got a mini usb lava lamp for just 2 euro. There's also great household items such as laminate tiles I got a box of 5 for - you guessed it , €2.... Read more...

I can't count how many Luases I've missed through being drawn into this shop - I just can't resist! The bargains are too good in there - a lot of their stock is 2 for 2 Euro, even brand names like Fairy Liquid, which is much more expensive elsewhere. I travel a lot and this is by far the cheapest place for travel accessories, don't leave it until the airport to buy your adaptors and neck cushions. It's also great for toiletries and stationery. Love it!... Read more...

Used to be known as the pound shop and was frowned upon in celtic tiger Ireland. Not anymore, has seen a big upturn in business since this recession has took hold. Stocks sweets, cards, stationary, toiletries, toys and various bric a brac. A lot of it is pure shite but there's also a lot of good bargains to be had - deodorants, shaving gel, toothpaste etc - all for 2 schilleros!... Read more...

I often go to 2e shop. Sometimes we ignore these shops and buy expensive stuff which we can really buy for cheap in our daily life. I had bought door stoppers from home base which cost me 4e each and I forced my husband to just have a look in this shop and believe it we got a pack of four door stoppers in only 2 euro.....incredible..isn't it..????? I told my husband to return the previous stoppers to homebase. Besides very cheap gift wraps and bags we can get from 2e shop.... Read more...

Most of the stuff in these 2 euro shops is junk but its handy for picking up things like notebooks, cards, wrapping paper, etc. the toys and electronics are completely useless, even for 2 euro they are not worth it. its easy to buy a lot of crap but try to resist! they have lots of sweets and drinks at much cheaper prices than tesco or dunnes too, handy if youre having a kids birthday party...
