Good for matches

Not overly mad on Fagans but it has its moments. Great spot for Dublin matches - theres always a great crowd and plenty of banter. The lounge is quite big so on weekdays it can feel really empty. It is really good for food, the a la carte menu in the evening is really tasty. The sunday carvery is well recommended- but do find desserts and coffees really knock up the price. Very well run pub. The beergarden is also nice and cosy.... Read more...

Ah fagans and the majestic excitment that erupts from the place at every possible stage. be it a regular night or a special occasion fagans never lets down. overall this is the place to be The only negitive I have for it was that the food was very slow coming out, which was a bit anoying, but all in all I would recommend people to visit fagans for a nice meal. Fagans is perfect for the after-work drinks on a Friday night, it gets pretty full up quickly.... Read more...

this is a great place for a sunday roast dinner- go here all the time and the standard never falters! They do half portions (around €7) of the carvery which is great for me cus the normal ones are too big. there is always room to sit down and the staff are always friendly. Its a nice cosy pub with a great location - the best part of the carvery has to be the garlic spuds yum yum yum :) Apart from that its a great pub for the GAA and is always going to be packed on those days!... Fagans do excellent pub grub. Would definately recommend their carvery lunch which offers delicious meats, veg, and potatoes. The menu changes daily and the food is always fresh and tasty. Fagans also do a great evening menu and the food is always good. If your going for a quiet after work drinkFagans is the place to go but it is not very lively and doesn't have live music but you can make your own craic!!... Read more...

Fagan’s is a good cosy pub in the heart of Drumcondra. There is a small bar full of locals, a huge lounge area with plenty of space and a comfortable heated beer garden facing Botanic road. I have been here on many occasions for food and drinks however think that the Sunday carvery is the best thing about it. They always have a 3 meat selection, fresh vegetables and all the trimmings. I find the half portions at €7.95 really good value and decently large. The desserts are a little... Read more...
