I love this place.

I love going here every Saturday. The vegetable prices are reasonable and the fish is absolutely fabulous. It's the nicest place I've found for fish in Dublin and you can really taste the freshness. I don't find the vegetables any more expensive than Superquinn. The sweet potatoes are expensive but they're expensive everywhere.... Read more...

Good quality local produce!
(01 May 2010)

Come rain or shine, this market is full every saturday with great local produce - buyers beware though - it doesn't always come cheap, but its important to support the local farmers. We tend to go for the olive stall and have often bought the organic chickens - pricey but worth it! The veg stall has everything you can every want and there is a vast selection of breads here too. We always get hungry walking around, although we are normally shopping for our dinner, so often have some falafel... Read more...

This place is excellent, from sweets to veg there is something for everyone. I love the stall where you can get lemonade and especially Fentimans lemonade and Dandelion and Burdock , its really a lot cheaper than the shops who charge an extortionate price for this fine drink. ... Read more...

This little market is a great place to go on a Saturday afternoon. They sell a wide range of food from burgers to exotic fruits. There are also a few shops surrounding the market which are all unique and have gorg stock. There is a crystal place there that sell wine glasses ect. I got two engagement champagne glasses for only €10 ! Its defintly worth a visit!... Read more...

Awesome
(16 April 2010)

When I think of Farmers Markets, I think of cattle auctions, sheep-shearing competitions and the Lovely Girls Show - the reality is slightly different. The Marlay Park is only open on Saturday afternoons, which partly explains why it always seems to be jammed full of people. The other half of the explanation is that it's just a brilliant market - lots of great-quality fruits, veggies and meats on sale for significantly less than you'd pay in Tesco or even Lidl down the road. Granted, there... Read more...

Exercise out the window
(28 February 2010)
by: emma f. 5 out of 5
One Saturday morning I got up with the best of intentions and headed to Marley Park for a long walk. I arrive and see 80% of the people in the park walking in one direction towards some stalls. My curiosity gets the best of me and I follow. One of the best and worst decisions I've ever made. I was like a child in a sweet shop, instead of going on the long walk I intended on going on I ate an italian sausage roll, some wontons, corn cakesm hot apple juice with Brandy, and of course, a brownie to...
