decent sized
(25 September 2011)
by: Dee D. 3 out of 5
Gourmet Burger serve a decent sized burger. We have had several of their different burgers in a few of their restaurants around Dublin. Some better than others. The staff can be a bit indifferent at times and we have had hit and miss service. Nice decor with a large blackboard on the wall displaying a burger and other food menu. Their burgers are just big enough and they have beef and chicken ones with lovely fillings. The burgers are served on a bun and are stacked with different fillings, my... Read more...

This place is quality, quality, quality. If you are after a satisying meal, this is the place to go. There are so many options you will be spoiled by the choices. My favourite has to be the chicken satay burger. A bit different from your regular burger, it its always a reliable choice. Great value for money too.... Read more...

Dublin's Number One Burger Joint
(16 May 2011)
by: Christian H. 5 out of 5
No matter how many times I go to GBK on South Anne Street, the experience is always first class. The food is delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not an easy man to please and I am extremely particular about my food, especially my burgers. So to say that GBK is my number one burger joint in Dublin is without question driven by very good reason. When I say the food is always delicious I mean that the food has always been cooked perfectly,... Read more...

Small meals for big prices
(11 May 2011)
by: Frances O. 3 out of 5
Not overly keen on this place.. Have only been once so maybe it was just one of those days but it seemed to take ages to get served... then FOREVER to get our food.. Then it was total disappoinment!! The burger was like a re-heat or something.. very dry.. The smallest portion of "regular" chips I'v ever had and not the friendliest of staff either.. Duno if it was just this branch of if they're more picky in the other branches but I for one wont be trying them!! :( ... Read more...

great gourmet burger
(10 April 2011)
by: Jude R. 4 out of 5
Good burgers and good prices. In my opinion Anne Street is the best gourmet burger place in town and a really brilliant selection of burgers to choose from with different size burgers and prices to choose from. They have a very good selection of veggie burgers and I would recommend there to anyone who's looking for a veggie option. The chips are also really good. Toilets not the best.... Read more...

Good deals
(03 February 2011)
by: Angie R. 3 out of 5
I'm not really sure why I think so negatively about this place. I never really enjoy myself when I'm there - the decor is kind of uncomfortable and the lighting is a bit depressing. They do have some great deals, so it's worth coming here only if you're availing of them. The chips are nice, but it really annoys me to pay extra for them when you're already buying a burger. Staff are quite friendly but masters of the art of avoiding eye contact when you're trying to get their attention. I was... Read more...

Nice but not on a sunny day!
(31 January 2011)
by: Jane M. 3 out of 5
I've always been a little suspicious of these burger chains and it was purely by chance that I went in the first time. I was with a couple of friends and town was jammed so when we spotted a free table inside, we ran in. The restaurant is dark and the decor is quite bland so it didn't make much of an impression. More importantly though, the food was pretty good. The burgers are huge, made up of a massive doughy bun, a massive chunk of tomato and a couple of lettuce leaves. Depending on what... Read more...

Burger Heaven
(01 January 2011)
by: Lucky C. 4 out of 5
Ok firstly i'll admit that i love my burgers so this place really appeals to me!! The choice is excellent, the food is tasty burgers really meaty and they are a substantial meal in that they fill you up for the day not like some fast food outlets where you feel hungry an hour later. This restaurant is casual service is quick and the food is reasonably priced - great value for money.... Read more...

Not impressed. Maybe it was just one of their bad days.

We called to this restaurant just after it opened on a Sunday. The waitress that served us seemed disinterested and distracted. Shortly after us a group of a dozen or more Italian rugby supporters called and we became almost invisible as far as service was concerned. Our burgers arrived and the meat was cold. Now this may have something to do with all the salad dressings that you are given but for me it didn't work. I was not impressed with their watery milkshake either. The upstairs toilets... Mad about burgers!!!
(11 November 2010)
by: P H. 5 out of 5
If you love burgers (and who doesn't???), then you'll love this place! Tucked down a quiet road just off Grafton Street; it's the perfect place to go if you need something filling which tastes fantastic. So if you're out and about and feeling a little peckish; rather than going to one of the obvious high street burger chains (you know the ones I mean), why not pay an extra couple of Euro and visit this bustling little restaurant with an amazing array of freshly cooked burgers. They... Read more...

Good Choice and Value
(14 October 2010)
by: May O. 4 out of 5
Have eaten in most of the Gourmet Burger Kitchens due partly to their ubiquity in the city centre and partly to their variety of burgers. though the atmosphere and service can be a little hit and miss the food quality is pretty consistent and they do good value offers and regular vouchers so they are always a safe bet if you're not looking for anything too fancy. Also they are great for veggies as they have 4 great choices. This time my companion and I both had the falafel burger which was very...
