a pint please
(02 April 2012)
by: Dee D. 4 out of 5
I have been to the Guinness Storehouse a few times, usually with visitors from overseas and they always enjoy the tour and some but not all like the pint of Guinness at the end of the tour. The guide is very good and makes the whole story very interesting to hear the history and background of Guinness . The bar at the top as others have said has spectacular views of Dublin City. The 10% reduction for buying tickets online is weel worth it, especially if there is a group of you.... Read more...

Worth a visit!
(27 November 2011)
by: Ruby W. 5 out of 5
If you're in Dublin sightseeing the Guinness Storehouse is definitely worth a look! It's very engaging and entertaining - you're given a guided tour of the factory and are shown how exactly and where the Guinness is made. There is a lot of old memorbilia on site and it gives a fascinating insight into the history and development of Guinness. The Queen recently made a state trip there which I'm sure a few of you heard about - well if it's good enough for The Queen it's good enough for me! ;)... Read more...

Great Place
(21 November 2011)
by: Reviewer W. 4 out of 5
This is a great place for any visitor to Ireland as Guinness is a very popular drink and is well known as Irish you can come and see where it is made, you get a tour around the storehouse and learn some history along the way then when the tour is complete you get to go to the bar which shows a 360 degree view of Dublin and also get to try a free pint of the black stuff.... Nice few hours
(18 September 2011)
by: Sean K. 4 out of 5
The Guinness Storehouse is located as St. James' Gate and gave us a great day out when a group of us went to see it. There were 3 adults in our group and all of us enjoyed looking around the visitor centre (It's huge!). We were reluctant to pay the entry fee at the start but like other reviewers we found out there was a free pint so the others were very happy. I was a little annoyed when I found out we could've booked online and saved 10% but it was only a few euros anyways. It really kept us... Read more...

good

This is a good way to spend a few hours. The entrance fee is a bit expensive @ 14.40 (but you can buy online for 12.96). - but then i suppose it does include the pint of guinness. You can do a self-guided audio tour or you can have amaster brewer on screens guide you through the guinness process. The initial stages about making the guiness are very dark and i think could do with better signage. You gradually work your way up through the floors and it all gets brighter. After being guided... Guinness
(25 August 2011)
by: Patrick N. 5 out of 5
Myself and a few mates dropped into the Guinness Storehouse a couple of weeks ago. I was not sure what to expect but it is a brewery how bad could it be, I thought. And I was right, it was not bad, in fact we all had a great time on the tour. It was really interesting. They tell how exactly Guinness is brewed along the tour. It is very a touristy thing. We had how pints up on the pub at the top and we were not let down. ... Read more...

The Guinness store house is a massive hit vith visitors to Ireland. I have been to the store house a few times and ever time I go there its always packed out with Visitors. Even the queen of England dropped by for a visit on her travels to Ireland. I suppose the free pint of Guinness helps to encourage the tourists in. Purchase your tickets on line or there at the enterance and hold on to your ticket coz when you present that you get your free pint of Guinness. Great day out... Read more...

good day out
(02 August 2011)

I have been here twice with visitors from overseas and they loved it, it's very interesting to see how the black stuff is made and the history behind it all, i loved the black and white video showing the barrells of guinness being brought down the Liffey by boat. The Guinness shop is quite expensive and the price to get in is a bit steep but over all it's one of the better things to do when showing someone around the city. The free pint in the bar upstairs is a nice touch even though i don't... Pint of the black stuff
(02 August 2011)
by: Oisin L. 5 out of 5
I love this place. IT really explains how Guinness is made and you get to see all the processes involved. I'm a big fan of the video section too, where you get to see all the previous Guinness adverts. Then there is the Gravity bar, where you get the best pint of the black stuff ever. If I ever have a friend visiting from abroad I always bring them here. And they always love it. I think this is one of the best tourist attractions in the country.... Read more...

Well Worth A Visit!
(28 July 2011)
by: Snerp D. 5 out of 5
Whenever we have overseas friends and family call we always take them to the Guinness Storehouse. Not surprising since it is such a popular tourist attraction and almost all of our visitors knew about it before they arrive. Usually this sort of "tourist trap" would be tolerable at best but not this attraction. Its just fantastic! True the tickets are expensive but the museum is so well done and interesting and the views from the gravity bar and amazing! ... Read more...

not the cheapest

I hadn’t been to the Guinness Storehouse in years since it was done up. So after seeing the Queen visit to the storehouse I had to go and see it again, so off we went and it was the really good it’s a fascinating tour with some good exhibits. The view from the Gravity Bar is impressive. Tickets are not the cheapest but the tour was interesting. It’s a self guided tour over the several floors. The tour is fantastic, the first time I went on the tour I didn't use a tour guide.... Read more...

Beer...

The first thing I will say is if you're going to visit the Guiness Storehouse, purchase the tickets for your trip online in advance to save 10%. The second thing I will say is that, it is NOT, as my friend thought, a big Irish session when you get inside!! Its a museum telling the story of Guinness down through the ages. Its actually very interesting. The Master Brewer takes you through the process of making the black stuff. You get to sample a pint then in the Taste Experience. Here is where... Read more...
