I cannot rate this place highly enough. I get sinead to do my cut and colour and she is actually brilliant. i dyed my hair from black to blonde at home myself and as you can imagine i ruined it.. i was orange with bits of brown and black. went into sinead and she fixed me completely, came out of the salon with a fabulous head of ash blonde hair and a nice trim hair cut. Its the Ryan air of hairdressers, but with good service. I had a highlights and a cut for what i would usually pay for a cut and blow dry. There is no tea and coffee offer and they do have lots in and lots out but i found the colour great the cut good and the hairdresser polite .I also got a loyalty card for a further 10% off. You cant ask for more than that and the magazine's were'nt bad either :-)... Read more...

Oliver Plunkett st bad, Grand Parade good!

I had an appointment at Hair Inc on Oliver Plunkett st. but to my amazement they shut their doors early! My appointment was for a quick trim at 5.30 (they close at 6) and I was shocked to notice the girls still inside but refused to answer the door to me! So in the end I moved on to Hair Inc on Grand Parade and they took me in without an appointment and were apologetic on behalf of the staff in the Oliver Plunkett shop. I had a quick look through whoseview, the other day when i decided i needed someone to fix my head. all the reviews seemed to give it the thumbs up, so I said I'd chance it. It dosn't look like much from the outside, and it sure as hell is a no frills kind of place. But honsetly, it is perfect. My hairdresser Louise, did everyhting I wanted her do colour wise, and gave ma a perfect cut! Great salon for Colour at reasonable prices - great cut too.

Have been here 4 times for cut and colour. Have had 2 different stylists do my hair and both were excellent at cutting and great style. You won't find a better price for colour in Cork city. Their colour prices are just fantastic. They can often take you even without an appointment and they don't take all day to do your colour cut and blow dry. Will use again and again and recommend to all my friends. Just found the salon by chance, saw the prices in the window and said why not... Read more...
