Classy Nightclub

This nightclub is aimed more towards the young professionals crowd as opposed to students. They do lots of great ladies nights. It's quite stylish and classy and has a more upmarket, sophisticated feel when compared to other nightclubs in Galway, however it can tend to be on the pricier side, so it's quite possibly not somewhere you'd hit every Saturday night when out on the tiles in town! Good but Expensive

Was only in this place once whilst CPs the nightclub next door was closed while they were doing renovations or something. It was crazy expensive as far as I remember. The cover charge was the dearest I think that I've ever paid in a nightclub to be honest. The dance floor is really really small which gives it more of a late bar feel really but the smoking area is absolutely great, once of the best I've ever been in really. I think it is a very great place to spend your weekend! I am going there very often. I like their music a lot. The drinks are great and not that much expensive. In tottal the place looks great.. think this place was dangerously over packed last time i was here but luckily we had reserved VIP area for our large hen party so ended up having quite a good night.would not be rushing back there but you not exactly spoiled for choice when it comes to late clubs in this city.agree about the entry charge too ..Crazy. the doormen werent the friendliest and i definitely think they werent too bothered about who they let in.... Halo is owned by the same people that own CP's, Personally I don't like it, its very very expensive, expensive to get in and expensive once you are in there, tiny dancefloor, wierd music, its for over 23's, the majority that go are very young, Go for a late bar, plenty to choose from you will enjoy it more and way cheaper... It is a lovely nightclub but unfortunately it's over 21s or something? so you are out of look if you wish to go there for your 18th birthday celebrations! Really nicely structured but wow it is so expensive for drink and admission, but I guess alcohol is usually dear in clubs. Very nice nd classy club, nice to treat yourself every now and again!... Galway's not really reknowned for it's clubbing scene, but this is probably the best of a bad lot. It's on two floors and is almost like a late bar rather than a club because the dancefloor is tiny! It's expensive to pay in and also for drinks, but if must go clubbing.....They have a lovely smoking area here, and you can reserve a VIP section which is nice because you get table service. Expensive but this really is Galway's best nite club. But bare in mind that Galway is more of a late bar spot than an niteclub spot. But yeah Halo is really your main option when it comes to clubbing. But €14 on the door....ouch!! ... Read more...

Halo is owned by the same people that own CPs nightclub in Galway and there are certainly a lot of similarities between them. However, Halo is for over 21s only which is really good for the older crowd who feel tired of the younger crowds in other nightclubs, but not so good for those whose friends might be 21 and allowed entry but they themselves are not or maybe just twenty - can be annoying as not as if underage drinking! arguably the best and definately the busiest nightclub in galway among the mid twenty somethings, halo is a pretty decent nightclub that offers decent seating, plenty of dance floor space and a decent smoking area. although it can be a little bit pricy at the door and maybe at the bar too, its worth it when you dont have to deal with the cp's crowd as they're refused entry for being under 21. definately worth a vist and try and get there early at the weekend or else you could be waiting for a... Over 21 version of CPs!

I was only in this nightclub when CPs(sister nightclub, next door) was being renovated and Halo was accessible to under 21s. 2 floors, very classy and nice decor. Great music. Dancefloor is a bit small. Stairs are big and wide so there isn't pushing etc. Usuallu have to pay in.... Read more...
