house of fraser

(09 December 2011)

Report

by: Lydia C. 4 out of 5

I really do love house of fraser, not necessarily for the clothes but for the make up and perfume area... i usually leave the shop reeking of at least 4 different perfumes. there is a great urban decay counter not to mention lancome, clinique, chanel, bobbi brown and all the other high quality brands. love parts of the female clothes section such as ms selfridge and topshop. and the mens section in the basement is unbelievable so many different brands all under one roof.... Customer Services Training Urgently Needed in Shoe Dept.

(23 October 2011)

Report

by: Margaret G. 1 out of 5

My friend and I went to House of Frazer shoe dept. in Dundrum shopping centre today to buy a pair of boots. We came out empty handed and reluctant to ever spend money in this store again. The staff in the shoe dept. were clearly perturbed at being asked to find boots in the required size as they were busy chatting with each other at the till. When my friend asked them to check out a second set of boots she was told that another assistant had to be asked as they were all from different depts. We... Read more...

I can't help but associate House of Fraser with over-priced luxury items but then am always pleasantly surprised at the range of reasonable items they also stock. They have an amazing stationary section with really cute and unusual designs. It's great if you're planning a party as they have everything from confetti to cupcake lights ! The top floor, in fact, is my favourite , they have great sales on household items and their cafe is a nice little stop off. They also have a great selection of... Read more...

House of Fraser in Dundrum is very luxurious and anytime I have gone there is never very busy, bit off putting as you feel you are going to be pounced on by staff eager to make a sale. Their clothes and everything about this shop is gorgeous and expensive, I always wait for the their sales to see if I can get a good bargain. Lots of floors with different departments, clothes and household, I could just wander around looking and wishing I could afford everything that I fancied. Nice shop to... Read more...

house of fraser is a good store that has lots of mid to high end brands on sale. i find this store a bit of a mish mash though, the clothes on the right when u go in are ur usual miss selfridge, warehouse, topshop, oasis- nothin special in any of them. then mango, ted baker and biba in centre which are 3 totally unrelated brands with very little in common. then there is jeans in between these 2 sections. then al the older ladies clothes on the right and t the back. and the threading bar is near... This is a nice store to go into if your looking to pick up an elegant bit. I wouldn't usually shop here for clothes for general ware as there quiet expensive. There clothes are top class and great quality. There well worth the price if your looking to pick up a one off bit. They also do homeware, I find there stuff is lovely but very pricey, so woulnd't be where i would usually pick up bits for the house... Read more...

I was waylaid to the section in this store that sells Nespresso coffee machines by Mrs. Mojito. As it happens there was one of the suits that deals with this product there at the time and I have to say gave us a very convincing story as to why we should make the purchase. Mojito junior recently bought one of these in Brown Thomas and seems very please with his purchase. The coffee pods that you get are expensive to purchase but I am told that you can now get compatible pods to use in the... Read more...

This is a great store, with pretty much everything in it. It has clothes, housewear, shoes etc. There are many recognisable brands in here too, such as Topshop, which are also good shops. The only problem with this shop is that most of it's things are quite expensive, in comparison to shops like Penneys or H&M.... Read more...

I had a quick look in Penneys this morning and I bought the most beautiful colourful shoes for only €13. I now needed a dress to go with the shoes so off I popped to House of Fraser, they are having up 40%/50% off sale.Very busy. I now have my dress to go with the shoes Got two Kookai dresses for nearly half price. what bargains. I now need a handbag to tie the whole lot together. Will have a look at the damage to my credit card and intend going back to Drundrum. I love mixing expensive... Read more...

House of Fraser is a huge department store located in the Dundrum Town Centre, selling designer clothes brands, homewares, electrical goods, cosmetics and gifts etc. It is a really nice store, bright and clean, plenty of room to look and shop. I would consider them to be expensive, but if you need something special this is the place. Only thing I dislike is when you pass by the perfume area and they have just sprayed perfume, awful, starts me off on a fit of sneezing and stinging eyes. ... Read more...

I like house of Fraser i have to be honest and admit that i don't often buy things in here but i do love going in and having a good look around, they do have some of the high street stores concessions in here which i do like. they have a good range of clothing andf there is something for everyone. they are quite expensive in some departments but more reasonable in others so something for all budgets....
