I still think of the time I ate hear when staying in cork and was pregnant with my first child. I think I would probably say it may have been my best restaurant experience ever. -and I have eaten in a lot of places. The atmosphere was so buzzy you didn't notice there was no background music. Most places depend on the music to create their atmosphere. The service was so warm without being false and they brought me a chair to put my feet up because they were swollen. One of the best in cork

Jacques restaurant is located just around the cornor from the gpo and it is well worth finding as it is a little jem. It has an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again as the restaurant is nice and modern and also the staff are very friendly.went here for an evening meal and had the steak. It was cooked just as i wanted and it was full of taste. I also liked the fried onions that came with the meal. I thought the meal was not expensive and was good value asnd well worth a return visit... Read more...

Excellent food, atmosphere and staff were excellent too! Would def go back for lunch or dinner. Great selection on the menu and excellent food for great value.It is in a great location, close to everything in the city. Also, the wine selection was very good too. They have won loads of awards, see Jacques website for details. Highly recommend this restaurant and cant wait to go back to it myself! ... Read more...
