The Quills have been serving the health needs of Killesterianites for nigh on forty or fifty years: Dennis Quill, John's father, had a pharmacy in Killester which he ran for years until he died in 1990 or thereabouts; John now operates his optician practice on the same site. John has been battling the myopia of two generations of my family, and he first tackled my squinting eyes about two and a half years ago.
