Great Value and Great Staff

Having spent a year as a regular of Kafka in Rathmines, it's no surprise that I have only good things to say about it. Set along the main street of Rathmines beside Swan Centre, it's easily accessible and gives a relaxing view of the street life outside, whether you're sitting at the front or the back of the restaurant. I am a regular to Kafka and I have to say I absolutely love this place. The food is always delicious and fresh and the staff are beyond nice. I've been back time and time again. I love their lunch time menu - they do a mean veg soup and a hearty soup that will fill you up for the whole day for €5 and €6 each. What a bargain! I quite randomly came across this place and decided to give it a go. I had the chicken wings to start with which were super tasty, the spinach and ricotta tortellini for mains and the jaffa brownie for dessert. The whole meal was delicious. Really liked this place- can't understand why it was so quiet for a Thursday night! Had Chciken Caesar for mains and was one of the best I've had- most places usually put too much/too little dressing- this was just right! Jaffa choc brownie for dessert was gorge!
