This is in a nice location at the fountains in Dundrum Town Centre. The food is good nice pasta dishes and good fish. The bruschetta is delicious. Bit on the small side but good food and good service.... Read more...

L'Officina

L’Officina is well positioned in front of the water feature in Dundrum. We managed to get a nice day recently and sat outside under one of the umbrellas. There are several restaurants located along this area so the choice is huge and depending on what you want there should be no problem feeding yourself. We found the food perfect but portions were small, with the way things are nowadays you would think they would make a better effort with better portions, the service was good, but then... Better food than the one in town

I'm surprised that this restaurant is getting such poor reviews as I've been here a few times and have really liked it. I think that the food is excellent quality, it's not that cheap, but I think that the portion sizes are fine. I had a steak here that was so tender I could have eaten it with a spoon! Staff were busy but friendly and helpful. There was also a nice, buzzing atmosphere in the place any time I've been. Coffee is really excellent. I'd happily go here again, I'd come here more... I love Dunne and Crescenzi in town so when i say this place in Dundrum i automatically thought it would be the same as town. It is somewhat different in that town always have a great specials menu which offers great valu. The food here was very expensive and the portions were very small for the price we paid. it was very busy and service was rushed which i didn't like.... Read more...

I must say i ve been here on a few occasions and each time i went back it was to see if it was better than the last time and unfortunately it was the same complaints over and over again - The place is small and can be quite cramped when its busy, portions are small, and service is slow and to add to it prices are little too pricey for what you get to be fair .... Early evening pit stop!

(24 April 2010)

Stopped by here a couple of weeks ago for a quick drink and small bite to eat. It was too early for dinner but we both wanted to eat something with our glass of wine/beer so ordered one of their antipasti plates - think it was called the vegetarian pates. A nice plate of breads arrived each covered in a different topping (pesto/sun dried tomatoes/artichoke/black olive). Really very yummy and perfect thing to share. Think it cost just under 10 euro which I thought was ok considering how full... Read more...

not worth it

This place is just Ok, I wouldnt say it is poor but it aint great either. Tos tart, the tables are spaced very closely together so it feels like youre sitting on your Neighbours lip...secondly, you get teeny portions of the pasta like 5 pieces of ravioli whcih doesnt go down well with a pasta lover like me...thirdly, its always packed. However, I will say that the coffee is nice, and the Breads are lovely too. Not the worst place, but not my first choice either. If you're looking for pasta,... Read more...

Overrated and Overpriced

It's been a few months since I was here, but paying €60 for two, when the main course was served on a saucer (as good as in terms of portions!) was pathetic. Come on, the days of ripping off people for the luxury of eating at Dundrum Town Centre 5th avenue at over. To make matters worse, you are campted on top of everyone else to the point that you have to listen to a conversation about someone's forthcoming trip to god knows where! If I leave a restaurant and I am not thanked as I walk... Read more...
