I would consider Le Caprice sort of old style decor but I have had a few meals some have been better than others, but we were always satisfied with what we did get to eat. A little bit of Italy in Dublin. There is a good selection of wine that won't break the bank. They have an early bird menu two courses for €17.95, this is what we had recently and it was excellent. i really enjoyed our meal that we had here. they have a resident pianist which is a lovely touch and adds to the atmosphere. the only thing is though its closed on a monday which is a bit random.the early bird is only eighteen euro per person which i found to be most reasonable. this is only for a starter and main but if you pay an extra three euro you can avail of dessert of the day.... Poor quality food

I was in here recently for the first time after working here years ago and unfortunately the food is no better. I should have known seeing as this was the only place I ever waitressed where the staff meal was pretty much inedible. The food was bog standard and didn't taste that fresh, no surprise as I remember the white cheddar cut into sticks and left out in the kitchen so that it would dry out and become hard enough to be passed off as parmesan. ... Just had a lovely meal at Le Caprice resturant on andrew street. The pasta dishes were excellent and they have a great menu with a great selection. The waiter was very helpfull and recommended a nice wine by the glass. Will defo be back.... Read more...
