Luigis are great for really tasty chips, burgers, fish and I love the battered suasages too! However I got a pizza from there once and I would never get one again. It was one of the worst pizzas I have ever had! I'm not really certain of what exactly was wrong, I think maybe it was the suace they used but it just was not nice! But as long as you stick to the normal fish and chips type menu everything is great!... Read more...

Little on the greasy side

Heard about this place, so having missed out on dinner at home I decided to pop in on saturday evening. The place was empthy as was the little restaurant they have. Not a good sign I thought. Given that the staff are Italian I wasen't surprised when I did'nt get a smile or warm welcome, but simply a nod and eye contact. This place is famous for its devine chips and burgers. If I am coming out from town after a good night out, sometimes I will purposely walk to ranelagh on my way home just to stuff my face with Luigis chips. I won't get a taxi as most of those bollickes wont let you into their cab with a bag of chips. No folks, they are that good. Ask most people in Ranelagh or surrounding area and will tell you the same thing.... Read more...
