I think mac makeup is great, i love the wide variety and the constant introduction of new products. my only problem is recently when deciding which mac foundation to buy, the sales person only put a tiny sample on my cheek, making it hard to gaige was it the right colour or not. mac artists should take note of benefit cosmetics, who apply a full face of make up so you can see what it looks like, to make sure you get the right shade. however once you get the right colour, it is a great product... I love MAC.. but too many new collections

I'm a huge fan of MAC however the one gripe is that they're releasing too many limited edition collections so it can be hard to keep up if you're a true die hard fan like I am. Also, the pricing leaves a lot to be desired - we're paying WAY over the odds for MAC than our neighbours in the UK and the USA do. Counter is overdone but the makeup is lovely

The girls at the counter in Brown Thomas are a bit over done, and not a very good advertisement considering they all look the same and don't show a great range of what MAC can really do. When I got my makeup done at the counter, I was left verging on Drag Queenie but that may have just been the person doing it. I love MAC make - up - i guess like all the other million woman. A friend intruduced me to MAC some years ago and i cant stay away from it. They have a great colour range, there is something for everybody. They have a great place in Brown Thomas, love to go in there and try new colours. It might be a bit expensive, i made the experience when i was a student - but it absolutly worth it! Its quality, long lasting and looks fab ! Brown Thomas is one of the only stockers of MAC. When it comes to foundation its worth paying a little bit more for the quality and coverage you get from MAC foundations. There eyeshadows are fantastic and i love the colour range they have, there so vibrant and they last a LONG time. There brushes are fantastic and necessary if you want to have good application of the products. Mac is one of the best quality make-up that has ever been invented. . lt has gotton dozens of excellent re-views in magazines and newspapers. A beautician friend told me many years ao that the Canadians were way ahead with thier products and Mac is another fine example. They have a fantastic range of make-up brushes. Their stuff is a little bit dear but worth it. You pay for the good quality. l love their concealer as it hides a multitude. A lovely shop and brilliant products.... Read more...

Always happy in MAC in BTs! Presentation of products is always clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. I have even gotten free samples of products and free testers of discontinued products in here. The only thing I dont like is the fact that when it's busy, you can hardly move for fear of knocking things of shelves but I just try to avoid the busy times of the day. I dont know that i have ever met a person who doesnt love mac make up. Its laid out so well and there is always someone around to help you. I use there eyeshadows ,lipglosses ,mascara and the make up brushes are absolutely brilliant. It is very expensive and an eyeshadow alone will set you back about sixteen euros but they last for so long. the make up will stay on all night unlike some cheaper brands where you would have to retouch the make up every so often. once mac never back, like others couldnt understand what all the fuss about but I started using it bout 3 years ago, agree its bit more expensive in these recessionary times but I get round this by using cheaper brand for everyday wear (dont wear much other then mascara foundation and gloss then) But the eyeshadows are brilliant the pigmentation means colours more intense and stay on much better - not sure if I think the brushes are worth the money? ... big difference

When you use Mac cosmetics I think it can make a big difference to how you look. they have nice colours in eye shadows and lipstick and nail varnish. When I had my debs I went and had my makeup done with Mac cosmetics. The makeup feels lovely on your face and my eyes were made up really nice. I bought some of their eye shadow and even if it is dear I think it is worth it because I have lots of cheap eye shadow at home and I never use it because it's not as nice as mac. MAC is a good quality make up. i have saved up and bought all their make up brushes and i have to say they were definately worth the price as it is much easier to apply my make up and it looks much better on too. the brushes are easy to wash too. i love all their make up products and i love when i get my face done by the professionals in here as they give fab advice and always make me look great!!... i love the MAC brand they are not too expensive compared to other brands and are all about fresh natural looking makeup. i love the eye shadows and lip glosses especially because they are in all different textures and colours and shiny or matt and the mascara is good because there is lots of different varieties like length or thickness so overall i really like MAC most of all for eye shadows!...
