Cinema okay to visit here

(13 August 2010)

Report

I am a little bit disappointed with my recent two visits to the cinema at Mahon Point Shopping Centre and the reasons are mainly linked to the food on offer. Got a large popcorn between myself and my boyfriend and felt that I spent a good part of the film trying to sift my way through all the popcorn seeds. Not a major lover of the pick & mix either - would much prefer if it was the sweet factory that was here. Otherwise it is a clean and comfortable cinema... Read more...

You want cinema, you have it. You want shopping, you have it, and that includes food, clothes. shoes, cosmetics, books, so pretty much everything. You even have a radio station if you want! So I think Mahon center is quite nice to go to, for shopping or for having a snack or a full meal after a tiring shopping session. And it's not very crowded like other shops, so it's just perfect. Sometimes there is even a small market near one of the entrances, you can find home made stuff and goodies that... Read more...

Great cinema to visit

You have such a range of films to view here that you are almost lost for choice. After you have had a good meal in the Food Court you can then go and enjoy one of the films in this great cinema complex. While you are waiting you can even sample some of the great Dagen Haas ice cream available in the foyer. Wonderful flavours and as many or as few scoops as you wish to sample.... Read more...

I Love Mahon Point

(04 June 2010)

I think Mahon Point is a great Shopping Centre. It's so easy to get to from Carrigaline. I love Tesco and Easons. The food hall is the best in the area. I wish it had a Burger King and a Taco Bell. The mega multi-screen cinema is the best in Munster. It's bright, spacious, clean and modern. I think it's a great mall with plenty of parking spaces. It's ace all-round.... Read more...

Mahon Shopping Center

Mahon Shopping Center is really close to my home, which is why it's there I go for clothes, movies or food. It might not have all the shops I would like to go in, but you can't have everything! And it's not crowded usually, which is just great! There's NEXT and Boots, ZARA, Bershka, and that's all I need. Also, it's very helpful to have Tesco there and one thing I love about that Tesco is that there's a coin machine inside, just perfect for all my 1 & 2 cent coins that I managed to gather... Great...,but no Penneys!

This only gets four stars, simply for the fact that it doesn't have a Penneys or Dunnes! It has every other ladies clothes shop, including Bershka, one of the more unusual ones. Free parking, great space, great food court, great variety of shops...there's even a huge Tesco so you can literally get everything you need in Mahon Point. I love the fact that it has a Sam McCauleys, one of my favourite chemists as they always have great deals on and they are much cheaper than Boots. But if you prefer... Read more...

Great place for weekend with family

(02 April 2010)

This shopping centre is great place for shopping especially at the weekend. There are a huge range of shops from electronic, computer, bike, home and kitchen, sport, fashion, and even cinema and restaurant and cafe. The cinema is located upstairs with a food hall alongside it, which is very handy. Mahon point provides spacious parking place. It also provides parking place with canopy for family and it's very handy when loading and unloading kids into the car. The negative think is the shopping... Read more...

Love Mahon Point

(27 March 2010)

Happy was the day Mahon Point opened! Lots of high street shops under one roof and plenty free parking. The shops are probably at the higher end of high street shops but still I think there is a great selection. I do think a Penny's or Dunnes in there would be great but as I say maybe they are going for the more expensive shops. What is seriously lacking though is a proper restaurant. Bennigans looked good but the food wasn't hectic anytime I was in there but its closed down now. I think... Read more...
