This is a really good one. I am probably here the most to go to the cinema. It is a really great cinema, although the screens aren't the biggest, you somehow feel like you are watching it in the comfort of your own home, although your own home if it had a very large screen. The centre has lotts of shops, that sell most items that one might want. For lunch i like to head to eddie rockets, and grab a burger and a strawberry milkshake. Great for mums

I'm on maternity leave at the moment and I'd be lost if it wasn't for mahon point! It's so handy to be able to park in the indoor car park, load up the baby without getting either soaked or frozen and head for a stroll inside. The food court is so baby friendly with microwaves to heat up bottles or food, plenty of space for buggies and lots of comfy seating for mums to hang out together. A good place

The Mahon point shopping centre has one of the biggest park parks around. With such pleanty spaces there should be no trouble getting parking. The centre has over 70 shops ranging from pc world to eddie rocketts. The shops cover the whole spectrum so if you were looking for something you would have no trouble finding it here. It is always nice to have kfc handy as when you are hungry you know where you can get some good chicken. It is a pleasure to go here.... Read more...

I love Mahon Point!!

Mahon Point has to be the best Shopping Centre in Munster. There are great clothes shops like River Island, Awear, Next and Monsoon. The biggest shop is Debenhams which has clothes, homeware and beauty products. There is also a really large Tesco Shop which is great. The food hall which has two floors of seating is great particularly for the kids. It is everything you need under one roof. There is a huge amount of parking all free. easy to reach

Mahon point is easy to ring off the ring road and is nice and compact on rainy days, its not very big though but it does have all the main high street shops and even has burska and ZARA which is not in town, and I prefer River Island in Mahon to the RI in opera lane. Mostly fast food options when it comes to food but you can pick out one or 2 healtier food options. The cinema here is great, lovely big leather seats, loads of parking ... Read more...

Great choice of shops

Mahon Point is a fantastic shopping centre in Cork. Its location means it's not too far from the city centre, so it's not too much of a trek to pop out for a visit. There are some really great shops out here, including all the big names. River Island, AWear and Debenhams are among the highlights. There's a brilliant food court and the newly opened Nandos is a real treat. The cinema is another attraction here. It really adds another dimension to the shopping centre. Something for everyone

The shops are a given, but worth a mention anyway. Spacoius, well laid out and a good vatiey and quantity of them. More than enough decent stores to while away a day shopping. The real beauty of this place is the add-ons. A "chill-zone" upstairs for the hubbies to sit down in comfort and watch sky-sports, a free kiddie play-zone, a proper ionema, fast-food joints, sandwich and bagel bars, smoothies and a full-blown steak-house. Child friendly

I love this shopping centre! It is quite popular with Mums groups/ Coffee mornings for mums who have babies & toddlers. We visit at least once a week and frequent the Mezzane floor (above the food court) where there are play facilities for children under 5. This is a fantastic area where if the kids are tired and cranky from shopping, you can let them lose for however long you want!! Great centre

This is a very good shopping centre. There is a lot of free parking available including a covered car park which connects straight into the shopping centre. Mahon Point has a good selection of shops with the biggest being Debenhams and Tesco. There is a food court upstairs but it's all fast food apart from the Bagel Bar. Thankfully Nandos opened recently as an alternative meal choice. The centre also has a great cinema. It can take a while to get in on busy times like coming up to Christmas but... Read more...

Great shopping trip

visited Mahon point shopping centre recently. Its located outside the city, has plenty of free car parking and also has a cinema. It is extremely child friendly with a drop in creche service available. It also has a selection of restaurants, o briens, mc donalds, abrakebabra. kfc to name a few, the downside is that you cannot get a hot healthy dinner without it being fastfood! GREAT CENTRE

Mahon Point Shopping centre is no doubt the best shopping centre in the cork city area. Everything there, - groceries in Tesco, cinema for the kids and an excellent selection of shops. Excellent cinema value in the kids clubs Saturday and Sunday mornings one screening is only 3 euro per child with the adult free. Having Tesco in the same centre as the cinema is also handy for not getting caught with cinema sweets prices! Only gripe is that as a coeliac almost impossible to find something gluten... favourite shopping centre

This is defintely my fav shopping centre. It has lots of different choice of good shops. Also good places to eat and the massive cinema. Also when my kids were younger, I used the creche quite a lot, which I don't think any other shopping centre has anymore. It was just great letting them play for an hour, while you go running around. Easy to get to and huge parking area, I would always pick to go here first.... Read more...
