Worth a visit!

(16 September 2011)

This branch is definitely worth a visit. The food section is good and easy to get around. The food is always good quality and they do great offers sometimes. The kids clothes in M&S are fab too - very good quality at an affordable price and the sizes are big fitting so last longer than some other brands.... Read more...

veggie sushi

(14 September 2011)

Report

by: grainne H. 3 out of 5

I usually only go into the food section of marks and spencers. It is the only supermarket where I have found veggie sushi which I love love love. I also work quite close so love there lunch offer of own brand crisps, sandwich and drink. At lunch it is really busy but there is usually quite a few tills open and your through within minutes. M&S is also the only place to get percy pigs best jellys around.... Read more...

GREAT FOR A TREAT.

Well what else is there to say about M&S. The foodhall stocks the most amazing food. I usually only buy as a treat as i do find it a bit expensive to shop there on a weekly basis. But The dine in for 2 for €12.50 is the most amazing value. I love the profiterole stack in this deal, it is fantastic and there wine is also great. Their Gasto pub brand is also yummy. I think they have nice clothes for the older women but i do think there kids clothes are a pit overpriced.... Read more...

Marks & Spencers Bra Fitting

(18 May 2011)

Report

by: Lorna C. 2 out of 5

Went to this store on Monday 9th May on spec to be fitted for a bra, they were full but told me to take a seat and they shouldnt be too long. I waited approx 10-15 minutes as the two assistants were fitting one customer each. During the time the customer was trying on different types of bra's the staff were outside the waiting room they kept talking about their working conditions on a Sunday and how x memeber of staff doesnt get overtime the other member does etc... which I thought was very... M&s

Marks and Spencers is fab for food. The newly set out supermarket has some lovely food. It is not for a weekly shop but maybe for special treats. They do lovely savouries and there is nearly always a special such as 3 for 2 on these. Deserts are very good would recommend pecan meringue roulade found in the freezer section. Clothing for children is excellent quality. Clothes for women can be a bit old fashioned. ... Read more...

A truly fabulous supermarket with a great variety. But, not for the regular weekly shop - expensive They do great meal deals - dine for 2 & this weekend dine for 5 all at great valuable. I also love there lingerie & underwear, great fit. The clothes dept is very large & staff are very helpful. A lovely coffee shop upstairs over looking patrick street. Only problem I have with the large store - is that they have no toilet in the store, a bit of a nuisance.... Read more...

Fab Food!

(08 March 2011)

Report

by: Patricia K. 4 out of 5

I have to agree with other reviewers... this is definitely a fab place to get food! They dont sell branded items just M&S own brand products but it is definitely superior to the branded products you can get elsewhere. Its slightly more expensive but not always and they do good deals from time to time. The food hall is always so busy and theres a reason for that! Apart from that M&S have a good selection of good quality mens, womens and kids and also do communion dresses at great prices.... Read more...

Marks and Spencers food is yummy, if only my bank balance would allow me to do my weekly shop in here! Everything from their lunch sambos, to desserts, to drinks is lovely! The prices are quite a bit higher than Tescos or Dunnes but you get what you pay for - VERY delicious food! They have plenty to chose from for all diets (vegetarian selection is very good!) and their salads are always very fresh and crispy. Great place to grab a quick lunch or something fancy for dinner!... Read more...

Great for kids clothes

(18 October 2010)

Report

by: Cecilia O. 4 out of 5

I love M & S for kids stuff as I find their clothes fit very well as they go by length rather than the usual sizing in months which can be all over the place. I also find them reasonable for outfits for special days out for kids that you wouldn't want to pay a fortune for. Swimwear is always great for bigger busted women too as it fits really well. Grocery store can be expensive but lovely for treats. I am especially fond of their biscuits for Xmas time, they usually do a buy one get one... Read more...

We visited M&S recently to start picking up things for Xmas and I just love this store. The quality of the food is amazing although expensive but I guess you pay for quality. I love M & S food but I wouldn't do my weekly shop here or I'd be bankrupt in no time! I do shop here for occasional treats and party food. I really enjoy their hand cooked crisps especially when they're on a 3 for the price of 2 offer. They have some really super cakes and desserts as well. I've bought quite a number of ready meals here over the years and have always found them tasty and generously portioned. I buy kids clothes here quite a lot. They have really improved their range in... Read more...
