Marks and spencers is such a great supermarket. I always hate calling it a supermarket because it that puts it on a par with the tescos and dunnes stores of this world. MArks and spencers is like a sort of hybrid dunnes stores and fallon and byrne. ITs like an awesome version of dunnes. Their meal deals are just brill, fab. You can pick up a full meal, main course with a side, dessert and a bottle of wine for two, all for twelve euro fifty cent. A real steal. I douglas so easy to get to.... Read more...

douglas M&S
(23 March 2012)
by: John m. 4 out of 5
This store is much smaller in stock than the other M&S on Patricks Street. The food hall is good but I noticed that its not all their own brands, but other brands too. The staff were ok to deal with, although one person appeared to be reading a script from an autocue! The gift section is non existant. There were a lot of cards for sale but no funky gadgets available. Clothes for sale are ladies so nothing for men. The restaurant is good and the staff are very nice. Food is longer to... Small but plesant
(29 February 2012)
by: L M. 3 out of 5
When i heard there was a Marks& Spencers opening out here is was thrilled, i love the food from here and clothes are also good. On my first visit i was a bit dissapointed, after visiting the one in town on many occasions i was surprised to find that this was a much smaller version. The clothing section is quite poor mainly stocking the per una range which while nice isnt always what you want! On the plus side the food is to the same impeccable standards that are offered from and M&S... Read more...

Really Disappointing
(01 October 2011)
by: Carmel C. 2 out of 5
I took a visit out to Marks & Spencers in Douglas and I was really disappointed with what I found. There is a clothes section which I think only had 'Per Una' clothing, but it looked like a clothing area for older people and was quite a small area. There was also a food area which was okay but nothing spectacular and I don't think it was any larger than the Patrick Street branch. On the whole I was disappointed and I would only go back there again if I was passing and really needed... Read more...

Food section is good, clothes section too small
(15 September 2011)
by: claire r. 4 out of 5
There are three parts to this M&S store, a food section, clothes section and the cafe. The food section, first of all, is quite big and well stocked. As with all branches of M&S, the food can be a touch overpriced. But there are good deals to be had when they run the Dine In for Two offers, for €12.50. The clothing section is very small, and there seems to be quite a limited amount of stock. The cafe is really nice. There are always plenty of seats and the selection of drinks and... Read more...

Marks & Spencer Douglas
(28 June 2011)
by: K P. 4 out of 5
The supermarket part of this shop is much bigger than it looks and it sells all the yummy M&S food, especially the sweet things! The cafe is quite big with nice large windows but the clothes section is disappointingly small . One advantage of this branch is the location, it saves me going into town and there's a big free car park in the shopping centre. The staff are lovely but I do find M & S staff almost always are!... M & S Douglas
(15 December 2010)
by: patricia s. 3 out of 5
I also visited M & S Douglas last week and was very disappointed with the range of clothes I live about 45 mins away and was looking forward to not having to go into the city branch, the food hall was good (ish) but noticed a good few bits where not stocked, the clothes section I just could not believe the cafe looked bigger than the clothing section, with all the hype about the store opening I thought it would have been a little better than it actually was ... A bit disappointed
(14 December 2010)
by: sam s. 3 out of 5
I was in here two days ago and I was quite disappointed by the clothes section. I must admit I had been wondering where they were going to fit a full size Marks in the shopping centre so now I know how they've managed it. The only clothes stocked are the Per Una range. There is a good selection and it's well laid out. I've always like that collection and looking at the target market I can see why they've decided to focus on that particular range. There is also a cafe which is through the... Read more...

Just opened on Thursday and super busy already
(28 November 2010)
by: M. O. 5 out of 5
We went out here on Thursday evening and the place was already jammed with shoppers. Large very well stocked food department with their great special dining in for 2 offer of main course, side dish, dessert and wine for just €12.50. When you add up the individual prices of the 4 items it is just double what you pay so this is a really super offer. The wine alone was €9.50 if bought alone. If you want a non alcoholic drink with this special offer you get a twin pack of red and... Read more...
