not bad prices

on my way home late one night going through churchtown i spotted marsellas so i decided to give it a try i ordered a burger chip,s and a battered sausage the price,s were not too bad but hey i was hungry they have a good selection on their menu so plenty to chose from the staff dont really have a lot too say but still the chip,s were quite nice the burger was not bad either and the sausage was not great still a bit cold on the inside but other than that i was happy i,ll call back some day.... best fish and chips

The best fish and chips in the area.Lovely chunky chips and the cod big thick chunks of fish in a lovely golden non greasy batter. I remember as a kid my Dad who worked late would always bring by Mam fish and chips on his way home usually at about 11.30 at night just for the two of them. Great chips

I'm a sucker for a nice bag of well-cooked chips - laced with salt and vinegar. This chip shop does some of the nicest chips I've tasted recently - left in the fryer for long enough to turn golden and with just the right mix of crunch and softness. The onion rings were also delicious although the portion wasn't exactly huge compared to other places. Staff were fine - didn't really notice their smiles or lack of them!... Read more...

Best Fish & chips

Marsellas in Churchtown have great fish and chips. They have been here for years. Would have been our families favourite chipper to go to. The staff here are brilliant, very friendly, always a big smile and excellent service. Would see the same customers coming back here all the time. They have an online delivery service. I need to update my review and talk about transformation! These guys must have read my previous review, as talk about smiles...all smiles they were! My last review praised the quality of the take away which was just as good, but the big difference was the smiles. I got a lovely smile at my order taking as well as when paying! Having fallin slightly out of love with Leo Burdock chips, we decided to give Marsellas a try for the first time as struggled to find a good chipper in D14 of D16. Extremely tidy as you'd expect with plenty of staff at hand. We ordered the chips and garlic sauce and I must admit the chips were extremely nice, definitely nicer than Leo Burdocks.
