While I think the food here is a bit average my family always want to come here when we go out on Sunday for some lunch so we end up here quite a bit. The prices are quite reasonable, think you can get fed for about a tenner which is handy enough. It serves all the usual's that you would expect from pub grub. It can get pretty busy, especially for Sunday lunch, but we have never haad trouble grabbing a table on arrival. One real advantage is there is decent parking in the area so you are rarely... I have been here a good few times for dinner on a Sunday and have had nothing but good experiences. The staff are very friendly and helpful if you have kids and need a kiddy chair, which I have. The carvery is delicious and you always get loads on the plate plus they give toddlers a bit on a side plate free. The service is excellent and you are never waiting for too long. There is plenty of parking at the side and even though I have never drank in the place I highly recommend it for their food.... Read more...

I recently brought my Grandad to this restaurant for a birthday lunch. It is his local for a few drinks and he wanted to have lunch there. The staff are quite friendly and they greeted my Grandad by name. There was a carvery lunch on and we both had the roast beef with vegetables. The beef was slightly tough but edible and the carrots tasted good, cabbage and celery were also available. Visually it did not look the best I thought the vegetables were a little too roughly cut and as I don't eat... Read more...

As pub grub goes, The Mill House do things pretty well. Although, as is the case with most pubs with menus, don't expect your food to be the highlight of your visit. It's an amicable accompaniment - not a delightful focus in itself.... Read more...

this pub is located a little outside of stillorgan village on the way to goatstown. the pub is quite a big establishment with a good selection of draft beers (they have coors light which is always a plus with us!) the food in the place is second to none very nice. the staff in the pub are all friendly and chatty and the lounge staff are great. plenty of car parking in the adjoining carpark... This is a great local pub, although it's definitely not as busy on the weekends as it used to be. It's still fantastic around Christmas time thought when it gets packed and there's a great atmosphere. Drinks prices are very good, especially if you're used to city centre prices. They're obviously making a lot of their money from food now and seem to be concentrating on that side of the business. A great place for lunch if you're in the area.... Read more...

If im in stillorgan and wanting some food I will usually head in here. They do great carverys at the weekend in particular and you are sure to be happy with what you got for what you shelled out for it. The prices are reasonable and the staff there are really polite and very helpful. There is plenty of car parking space and with it being so big you can always be guaranteed getting a table... Have had many a drink here over the years. This would have been a regular place for us for lunch. Big inside so never a problem with getting seat.Their carvery is always excellent from about €10 to €13. The food is always well presented and piping hot, and good choice. Lunch served from about 12. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. There is a good car park outside. I like the old fashioned look of the place. There was a fire nearby in the old Chartbusters but this did not... you wouldn't want to be going here for the atmosphere as this has long since gone and more often than not the place is all but empty. The food here is lovely and never fails to live up to a good standard. The bar staff and lovely and very friendly, the serving staff although aren't the est, but it doesn't put me off my food. Generous portions of well cooked food go for the food not the atmosphere.... Read more...

As "one" of my locals for over twenty years, i would recommend it. Although not quite the place to go for a good night out anymore, its lovely for a quiet drink. The food has never changed it was and still is outstanding. The service took a nose dive a year or two ago but its great to see that its back to it wonderful standard. The bar staff are friendly and will always make you feel welcome.... Read more...
