I do not get the hype around Monsoon at all. I've gone in here loads after seeing something in a magazine or through word of mouth, and everytime I expect to be suprised. And I am. Just not pleasantly. It is so overpriced it's not even funny. I would not be paying that type of cash for those clothes, they are no way special enough! Pricey but worth it

Monsoon clothes and accessories are all quite pricey. However, the quality of the clothes is so good that you dont mind paying the high prices for them. I have bought several dresses in here over the past few years for numerous weddings that I have been invited to. Many of them have been worn and washed several times but still look like new! Also, they dont tend to date which is handy when they last so long. My favourite dress is the Catrina which I have in 3 colours.... Read more...

High prices but worth it.

It is a pleasure to shop here! The level of stock is always excellent. The staff are friendly and the changing rooms are not crowded and really spacious. I agree with other users that the prices are high - however the clothes are generally of an excellent quality and tend to last with repeated washing. going against the rest of the views here but i really do not like this monsoon... whenever i go in i find the place to be very messy and disorganised. whenever im going to a wedding i always go in on the off chance but nothing ever appeals to me enough that i would pay their incredibly high prices for. didn't find the shop assistants to be a great help either.... I like this particular Monsoon in Dundrum especially for the children clothes. Womens clothes there are my favourite and I have bought a few items in this particular branch, lovely colours and nice and feminine. Girls clothes are gorgeous, very girly and different and if I had a little girl I would have her in their clothes. I really like the styles and colourful clothing at monsoon. I remember going there looking for a debs dress and trying all the dresses on! Woo! I love their coats and jackets. Also their long skirts are lovely which is rare to find. It can be a little expensive but for key items it's brilliant! All in all a great shop.... Read more...

This has to be my favourite shop. They are very expensive BUT every time i am looking for something nice to wear for that special occassion i always succeed in monsoon. The staff are very helpful and they even help you to match the jewellery, shoes etc. their sales are great, very genuine. All their clothing are of excellent quality are wear well. When I have a special occassion to go to, then I will shop in Monsoon. But, most of the time, I don't step foot in the doors. It is just sooooo expensive and they really really rip the Irish off. If you look at the Sterling prices Verus Euro, we are being overcharged by huge amounts. Very expensive. A small vest top could set you back €40 and then a cardigan another €80. A serious flaw in a Monsoon dress caused me a lot of stress for an important occasion. I bought a dress in Monsoon in Dundrum, and a few days later exchanged it in Grafton St because the beading was falling off. The replacement dress was the same one as the original, and in the same size. The night before my party, I tried on the replacement to find that it was a completely different fit to the original; the top part was falling off me, the sleeves were falling down, and the material gaped at... Really like monsoon for their scarves, jewellery and bits and pieces. They have the means to recreate any dress that you have in the closet that needs a revamp! Especially like their hats and scarves for winter they are good quality and can be recycled year after year! Monsoon also do really good beach bags and flip flops for warmer climates! I love the way when you walk in the door you immediately see wall to wall of vibrant colour and quirky designs. I especially love the bags, necklaces, earrings and other bits and bobs they have in the accessorize part of the shop. one christmas i even bought my dog a cute woolly jumper in their special christmas pet section. prices are very reasonable and the staff are always very helpful and chatty...
