I have never been mad about this shopping centre and as a result rarely go there. It's alright but is just lacking a spark or an enticing atmosphere. It is in a very convenient location and is very handy to pop into in rainy weather, especially if you need something specifically from Dunnes Stores. It is also handy for the cinema and if visiting the Vision Centre in North Main Street. I did go into the shopping centre recently and was pleasantly surprised to find a St Vincent de Paul charity... This is a very small shopping centre with not much going on inside. The biggest attraction id the Dunnes store supermarket which is popular with the middle aged north side shopper type.its normally quite but can get very busy especially at lunch time and around 5.30pm. Apart from Dunnes there is a small convenience shop, a chemist, a restaurant, a nail bar , a polish cake shop and i think few other shops. It's alright in the vicinity, it feels a bit cheap but its okay overall.... l was only here once and was not hugely impressed. Apart from Dunnes there is not much else here, except a few smaller shops. l would say most people would go here to do grocery shopping in Dunnes. It would be fine for that but little else. There are several charity shops in the vicinity also. l wouldn't recommend this shopping centre l would rather go to Merchants Quay or one of the bigger shopping centres in Cork.... Read more...

Although it is not your usual HUGE shopping centre it is adequate and you can find a lot of good value here. Most people visit north maiin street for the great array of charity shops in order to support them so they also make sure to visit this centre while in that area. It is well worth the visit. As they say good things come in small packages and small lis also beautiful. Very helpful staff on hand to assist yoiu which means a lot.... Read more...

I haven't been in this shopping centre in ages as Cork City has so much choice now and i think the logical place to go is always merchants quay. It is mainly a good dunnes stores with loads of other little shops like newsagents, food corner, bit n'bobs shop. I never really looked at it as a shopping centre. It is located near the gate cinema. I guess it nice to have a dunnes stores on the north side of town aswell and if you live down this way is it a great place for your weekly grocery shop.... Read more...
